Friendly staff, comfortable room and bed, tasty meal and great breakfast. Hotel located right wedge of private forested area resulting in it being very quiet and with beautiful surroundings. On site dining options were great for us as on bike and didn't feel like riding our for dinner.

Needed a place to stay before catching a flight out of Amsterdam, and this was the perfect place. Great comfortable location, beautiful surroundings and gardens and a delicious breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful. Lovely hiking trails around the property and to the overlook tower. This is definitely a place I would stay again.

Good breakfast, Bed comfortable, bedroom looking tired and in need of painting. Bedroom on the small side. Great for visiting Huis Doorn for those interested in Kaiser Wilhelm II

Great little property exceeded our expectation. We’ve been traveling for a while and been to a number of different hotels and this one turned out to be in the middle of the national Forest would highly recommend.

Adequate accommodation but room was very basic- like a university student accommodation. There is NO air conditioning despite this being advertised.

Nice hotel and beautiful location. The staff were not that friendly so they could improve on that. Also do not order the cheese and biscuits as you not get much of the cheese.

Simple European style hotel with access to beautiful forest areas. Great for early morning forest walks.

Spoke to receptionist re: room was not very warm. Reliant on the warm air conditioning. Not working very well. Also in the room description it stated coffee/ tea facilities in the room, there was none. Also I said to the receptionist it would be nice to have water in the room. However the room was clean and comfortable. The service in the restaurant was good and fair selection on the menu catering for people’s taste

It has located in beautiful place next to the forest and outside is amazing for walking.staffs are friendly. good breakfast buffet.quite room but room was small and bathroom have to improve. there's no heating system .good wifi. Tea/coffee maker at room.

The hotel was very close to House Doorn, a cultural site we visited. The restaurant of the hotel was great and they had a good breakfast buffet. The staff was very friendly. The only minus was that the central heating in both my room and that of my family did not work on a chilly day. They seemed to know that this is an issue and provided radiators.

Free wi-fi was advertised. It was free but did not work in the room and only marginally elsewhere in the hotel. This is extremely inconvenient. The breakfast buffet was very good. I had one dinner and that was not good at all. Soggy quiche and over-cooked vegetables, soggy french fries. Very disappointing. The terrace and dining area were lovely and relaxing.

Enjoyable stay, nice modern decor of room, if slightly cold feeling. One thing though, our room had a wet room with a toilet in it, unfortunately you had to walk across a wet floor to use it, if the shower had been used before hand, result wet feet, socks or leave muddy footprints by keeping your shoes on! Still we would stay again.

Well,we liked our room otherwise but had rather had a solitaire bathroom.The bar was not comfortable.The restaurang was OK,but half of the time the personal didn`t seem to know what they were doing and almoust everything we did try to order was finnished - that was a dissappoinment.And the last evening we could not come into our room because the personal had closed it by data!Not very nice.

Het hotel is prachtig gelegen, middenin de bossen. Op loopafstand (Helenaheuvel) zijn meerdere bewegwijzerde wandelingen te vinden. Hoewel het gebouw zelf wat gedateerd overkomt is het binnen goed onderhouden en netjes. De kamer had echt schoner gekund. De standaardkamer is aan de krappe kant. Voor het (overigens uitstekende) bed langslopen gaat alleen zijwaarts. En wat we vooraf niet goed gezien hadden (staat wel vermeld) is dat het 2 losse bedden zijn. Vinden wij zelf niet prettig. Eenvoudige maar prima douche. Ontbijtbuffet is soms heel ruim als het gaat om assortiment (veel soorten granola, e.d.) en soms wat beperkt (weinig soorten vleeswaren en kaas). In de avond/nacht wordt het terrein afgesloten met een slagboom. Die hoort automatisch open te gaan via kentekenherkenning, maar dat werkte al een tijdje niet. Ook de intercom aan de slagboom doet het niet. En in het donker is het briefje met vermelding van de storing en het telefoonnummer van de receptie niet leesbaar. Het was fijn geweest als ze dit bij inchecken hadden aangegeven.

Heerlijk relaxed hotel, midden in de natuur. Nette kamers, schoon, goed ontbijt en heerlijk eten in het restaurant. De natuur om het hotel is schitterend. Hier komen we zeker nog eens terug.

Goed naar ons zin gehad en alles werd, indien nodig snel geregeld.

Für unsere Zwecke ideal: Parkmöglichkeit und Unterstellmöglichkeit für unsere E-Bikes. Allerdings ist das Waschbecken praktisch im Raum - etwas komisch. Sehr nettes Personal, gutes Essen - aber kaltes Rührei

1. Our bedroom had no bathroom door. How on earth do you have privacy if there is no door? 2. The pillows on the bed were lumpy + uncomfortable. 3. Night reception person was very friendly + helpful.
