Second stay at this Motel on our return from Auckland. Upgraded to a superior room with all facilities including spa bath. The room looked fairly recently
redecorated and in first class condition. Excellent condition and cleanliness.

Did not like arriving to the place to hear that I had to pay a bond to stay in my room that I already had booked and payed online. My room only had quarter roll of toilet paper the remote was broken and after checking out of a terrible one night stay I was told that I won’t get my bond back until the cleaners did my room and made sure I hadn’t broke anything or stole anything didn’t receive my bond till 2 days later. Overall will never ever stay there again nor will I ever recommend to anyone to stay disappointed and very unhappy

Unfortunately not a pleasant place to stay, no privacy, so have to keep all curtains/blinds (which need replacing) closed. Strong smell of bleach, clean-ish if you don’t look too closely. Decided to leave after 2nd of 3 nights, asked for a refund and staff assured me I could and to come back next day for it. Well that was a lie, I called back and they wouldn’t refund me. Definitely wouldn’t recommend staying here, I certainly won’t be again.

Was a last minute booking think it may have been called a studio room, very reasonable rates. We were
pleasantly surprised. The room was spacious and clean as was the large bathroom. We had cooking facilities to cater for ourselves if we wanted to. The TV in our room was a smart TV so was a bonus to be able to have plenty to watch and relax after a hard day and access to log into our APPS. Was happier with this motel than in the tiny room we paid more than double for the night before in Hamilton which did not have half the home comforts or free parking. Staff also pleasant and helpful. Would not hesitate to stay again.

Was pleasantly surprised when I entered my unit as it appeared spacious, clean and we'll decorated. Staff were very polite and eager to do their jobs. Being a non driver it was great to see a bus stop outside the motel and one across the road. The buses were easy to use as long as you had a preloaded Bee card. As a gold card holder my information was loaded on my Bee card which made bus travel free. Ten minute walk to a dairy and slightly further to supermarket and food places. Would definitely stay there again.

This place was more than adequate for what we needed as a stop over stay. Parking was right in front of the room. Fridge was very noisy over night but other than that no issues.
There is a bond that they require on top of the fee of $100 but this is refunded after check out. I didn't mind this as I am guessing perhaps they have had some issues in the past that have meant they have needed to do this. Overall, adequate budget stay.
