Room and staff were fantastic. They were good to look after my main luggage an extra night whilst I camped on Telica volcano.

Lovely, completely comfortable hotel in a very convenient location. Friendly and helpful staff who speak English. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Leon and will return.

Hotel Austria is a great place to stay in Leon. The staff were very friendly, the hotel room was cleaned daily, and breakfast was delicious. The location was perfect too. One block from Central Square.

Parking is on property and in a secure lot. The staff is exceptionally attentive and positive. The room (thought quite small) had hot water, internet and air-conditioning.

This is a small, friendly hotel. No frills but a great place to stay. Good breakfast included. We have stayed here many times in the past and this trip did not disappoint.

Delightful hotel with interior courtyards, and well located just two or three blocks from the main square. Our only suggestion would be that the hotel serve whole wheat bread (instead of the white bread) for breakfast. Other than that the breakfast was delicious. The surroundings were quiet, very few cars on the streets and relatively clean air. We were delighted with the town and the hotel.

Difficult when ask for a couple of days more. But ok in general.

Me llamaron la atención por planchar encima de la cama y encima de llamarme la atención me pusieron un rótulo en la habitación, cuando ya nosotros habíamos pagado la sábana que se había manchado por la plancha y sale porque era blanca sale con cloro 16,23 dólares me parece que 😦 con solo el cobro era suficiente 😡 por eso nos fuimos un día antes de ese hotel 🏨

Clean, quiet, everything worked, people were helpful and friendly, fine breakfast choices, great location, close to cathedral and restaurants, etc.

Everything was nice. We were the only guests there during our 2 nights stay. Hope the pandemic goes away soon, so the business can get going.

Good central location to all the main sights in Leon. Friendly staff, room was basic but comfortable. Breakfast was good. No problems during stay.

We loved our stay at Hotel Austria! The property itself was beautifully maintained, the room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was really yummy, the staff was sweet and helpful, and it's right in the heart of Leon making it a fun and easy walk to explore the city. The icing on the cake was the owner; we went above and beyond when we couldn't get ahold of our next lodging in Poneloya. He allowed us to use their phone to try and contact them but the call didn't go through the first time. Ten minutes later, we hear a knock on our door, it was the owner. He called our next hotel until the call went through and then stood there and translated for us since our Spanish is dicey. Wow! He could have gotten us spend our money and stayed at his hotel again but "our happiness is most important", he said. If you get the chance to stay here, you won't regret it.
