Clean room

It's cheap and a good location. Otherwise room is very basic and old. Not very clean either.

Everything was convenient, walkable, parking was convenient, place was nice and clean.

It's good for the price

A basic hotel in a great (central) location. My standard single room was on the 6th floor facing the water to the south-east. It was very quiet (no traffic noise or from other guests) and, being light all night, glorious to lie in bed looking out through the picture windows at the seagulls and district views beyond.

When I first arrived mid May 2025 stayed for 2 nights then decided to return and stayed a further 4 nights, comfortably so.

Good for one night stay on the road.

I thought the room, accomodations and facilities were great value for the cost. The absent, e-check in was a bit confusing and unsettling as I showed up at 9pm but had not received my access entry and room codes. After 6 calls I finally got thru and the person online was able to provide access then it all worked out.

Smart check in, excelent location, clean.

Great location. As most places don't open till 10am it would have been nice to have been able to make a hot drink. Suggesting buying breakfast at the Scandic defeats the purpose of staying in a budget hotel.

Always have problems with the room code. Make sure you know the hotel phone number and have sufficient credit on your phone to be able to ring them. The hotel was great location but most coffee shops don't open till 10am. Would have been nice to have been able to make a hot drink in my room or in a communal area. 2min walk to bus station and 5 min to Hurtigruten in the snow and ice but not hard if you have spikes on your shoes.

Hei, We have stayed together my wife one night. After that I stayed two nights alone. There was two different reservations and both of rooms was looking to back side. The rooms were dark, there was no hair dryers, water boilers, shampoos. I think that there is should be hair dryer, because north Norway is very cold even in summer. There is no reception desk, you have to contact with phone. The prices non refundable. I recommend order just for short time stays.

Apparently, when booking a room with F2, you are to receive a code to go inside the building as well as a message giving your room number and passcode. I never received a code and was locked outside until after seven pm - after much hassle. Emailing, messaging the hotel through the Expedia app, customer service chat, I even borrowed a local's phone to call the number posted on the door, but they said they were too busy snd would call me back... then hung up on me before I could tell them it was a borrowed phone. Today I am facing the same problem again as I booked the hotel for two nights, but as separate bookings... so I am locked outside again, with all my luggage in the lobby, waiting for someone to email me a new room number and passcode.

Nice location as it is in the center of the small city. It doesn't have a front desk but it was no problem getting the code by calling when we got there. The rooms are basic but clean & functional. There is a pizza place right underneath on the bottom floor.
