Excellent location handy for public transport. Clean and tidy

The property was very convenient and comfortable for our family during our 1 night transit Norway and Sweden. Breakfast got a little crowded, seems the hotel was very busy the day we chose to be there.

If there’s no one in the reception to greet a guest, you should show a huge banner for people to see when trying to make a booking. All hotels have reception but this one didn’t tell you the reception doesn’t work after 7pm. The door bell was not working either. I don’t have a phone number in Norway so I cannot call them. We had to book an Airbnb to stay. It is terrible they charged me money at the booking but do not reply and are not contactable after the booking and after the complaint. No refund no reply no communication at all! Definitely avoid booking this hotel!

1. The room curtains are not "blockout". In this high latitude country where there is light throughout the night, decent curtains are imperative. How bad you ask? It was like a supernova. I was able to read in bed with the curtain closed and the lights off at 4am. 2. Here's a hotel in the world's richest country that doesn't have a mini fridge in the room. I'd bought a litre of milk and to keep it cool I placed it on the second story window sill. Only to have an opportunistic crow slash it open like a vandal. I now risk avaian flu as I tap out the remaining drips onto my cornflakes. 3. No internet in the room. It seems its been down for the past week. Do they do this on purpose so guests struggle to write reviews? 4. Really expensive electric car charger. It's our first day in Norway, we picked up the car and drove straight from the airport. To top up the car battery it cost about $70USD from their "Mr Scrooge" hotel charger. 5. The electronic entry cards worked well unit I went looking for coffee (did I mention that there's no coffee in the room). Upon return, neither of the fobs allowed access. This could be a simple electronic error but it just compounded the inadequacies of this hotel. 6. Hotel breakfast was really good 7. The shower and hotel heigene are also impressive Noone wants to see businesses fail. I sincerely hope that Henriks Hotel owner reads this review and make changes. We arrived very late and the self check-in was so easy. Hotel room was so comfy, clean and staff in the morning were super friendly and helpful. Honestly I wasn't expecting much, but they truly surpass my expectations. Highly recommend

Gratis parkering,fint og rent rom,lite bad men ok,god og innholdsrik frokost,hyggelig personale. Einaste minus var tv uten kanaler og med apper som var vanskelige og koble til.

Helt grei frokost og personalet er greie når de er der. Og sengene er ok. Men selve hotellet er veldig slitt og kunne trengt en total renovering og oppgradering. Tv virket ikke. Gammelt slitt teppegulv i korridorer og trapper. Ingen varme på bad. Lekkasje fra vinduer og vinduer skrudd igjen så luften var tett. Ikke noe personale tilstede etter kl 19. Salige Henrik Ibsen, som hotellet er oppkalt etter ville neppe frekventert dette hotellet.

Frukosten var bra, men saknade laktosfria alternativ av mjölk.

Bra men väldigt kallt på rummet då det inte var någon värme på.
