The most surprising part is heated bathroom floor! Shower glass is only partial . So get very wet I. The room but with heated floor, it dries pretty quickly! Also location was perfect for us to move around.

Only stayed one night. Moved to quieter hotel. My room was on street side, across from extremely noisy bar that stayed open very late. Lots of loud cars, gunning their engines also kept me awake. I asked for room fan at check in due to uncomfortable central heating, and was told only one fan in entire hotel. The fan was barely operational, screw missing and it too made alot of noise. Hotel was expensive for the quality and comfort received

Good quality hotel in an excellent location for Oslo city centre and all that is on offer. It was a little strange that the check-in desk is also the bar! Further, there were times when the staff were busy elsewhere meaning both check-in and bar were unattended which was not completely satisfactory. However, all the staff were excellent and helpful. The hotel itself has character and the rooms and communal areas were clean & tidy. Breakfast was good with a varied choice of hot and cold food. However, after our first day, cheesecake/sweet treat options were very limited and I wonder whether they were facing a supply issue? Unfortunately, the kitchen was undergoing a refurbishment therefore the hotel could offer no evening meals which was a pity, but there are endless eating options outside the hotel, so it wasn't really an issue. Overall, a good choice of hotel, in a super location, with a hearty breakfast that sets you up for a day exploring Oslo - and a fine glass of wine in the bar at the end of the day to allow you to reflect upon your days adventures!

The hotel is in an excellent location. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room was clean upon arrival and cleaned on request during our stay. It ticks all the boxes.

My friends and I had 3 rooms at this hotel. The hotel provided everything we were looking for as to cleanliness, room sizes, and room safety. The included breakfast buffet offered plenty of choices. Its location is a walking distance to public transport, restaurants and to attractions. The staff we met were all accomodating. I highly recommend this hotel. Will stay here again next time I am in Oslo. Thanks also to Expedia of which I used in my booking.

Very well located for all of the main Oslo attractions, walking distance from the train station and with a tram stop outside. This is a hotel steeped in history, having been owned and operated by the same organisation for over 100 years, a book in each room describes the journey that the hotel has taken to get to today. Staff: very friendly and welcoming. Lounge area: very comfortable, well decorated for the Festive Season. Breakfast: excellent, great choice of local produce, very high standard of provision. Room: standard room is on the smaller size, but perfectly comfortable for a short break. Bedding and pillows of a high quality. Bathroom was functional but a little tired. 8/10

A nice hotel, and extremely close to central Oslo.

Quick and easy check-in, an hour early without issues. Rooms were a good temperature, but underfloor heating in the bathroom was way too hot. Our room has not been turned over, even though we had the sign out and left at 10am. Room had 2 German cockroaches walking about and was extremely dusty but worse, extremely dry. Breakfast was amazing.

A really nice stay in a brilliant city. The hotel was in a really good location, not far from the parliament, royal palace and waterfront. The room was large and comfortable for a family of 4. The complimentary breakfast was great, with gluten free options.

Hotel was great and so was staff. The rooms did get a little warm but had windows that could be opened. The restaurant was great! Area was nice around the hotel but quite noisy at 3:00am. Overall great hotel and would stay again!

The hotel location is extremely convenient, it has every single attraction within walking distance, a maximum 10 minute walk to the Opera house and Munch museum, the rest was in a two block radius, for most things it was a 3 or 4 minute walk tops which makes getting around very easy. Breakfast is nice, with a good selection of both hot and cold dishes, and with staff cleaning and clearing the tables extremely fast which made finding a table easy even if the dining area seemed full. Overall a very good choice
