Dette er et klassisk Haugesundhotell, litt sliten bygning, men det er et hotell som ikke prøver å utgi seg for å være noe annet enn det det er: En hyggelig overnattingsplass, kunnskapsrikt personale, god frokost, store (men litt gamle) rom og et stort bad. Dersom hotellet vil gjøre noe, kunne de med fordel installere smart-TV og være litt mer generøse med anemities på rommet.

Hotellet har fin og sentra beliggenhet like ovenfor gågata, og det var lett å finne offentlig parkeringsplass. Frokosten var god, selv om en av morgenene var alt kaldt fordi det hadde vært strømbrudd, noe hotellet ikke kan lastes for. Rommet var OK, men badet var ganske lite og trangt. Det var ingen ledige el-uttak ved senga (jeg bruker CPAP og trenger kontakt til den. Måtte ta fra uttak langt unna senga, men det fungerte takket være lang ledning). Betjeningen var svært hyggelig.
