Although clean and tidy inside, my room had no window!

Amazing place to stay, staff are wonderful and helpful, always happy. Cleanliness of rooms and the all facilities. Would totally recommend.

It’s showing wear and tear, it’s a little arrogant if a place can be that, but the staff are complacent and hanging on to a bygone era I feel. There are better places for less money that offer more.

Clean comfortable room. Check-in was a little slow but I was also early. They were very apologetic and helpful though. I ordered room service and it took a long time to arrive. The reef fish tasted really fishy but it was edible.

Thank you for the upgrade! I always enjoy staying at the Stanley when traveling through Port Moresby. In my opinion this is the best place to stay in POM.

Stay was as expected to Stanley level, spent time pool area Monday Tuesday pool bar closed and utilizing room service was slow and took while for the food and drink, need a smoking area at the pool are its a open air surroundings

Easy access to Vision City as well as government offices in Waigani is a great perk for this place.

Overnight stay prior heading to the airport the next morning. A very nice hotel, with clean rooms. I had slightly patchy internet on occasion, but nothing really disruptive. Easy access to the mall next door. Staff were friendly. No issue with recommending.

I’ve stayed at a few hotels in Port Moresby, and The Stanley is my favourite. There are a lot of things to love. First if you like a hotel with a great pool, then the Stanley is for you. I’ve noticed that at other POM hotels the pools are often located very near the restaurant, which can make you feel a little self conscious about being in a bathing suit in front of all the diners. At the Stanley the pool is both large and is on the 5th floor, with its own dedicated space not anywhere near the main restaurant, which is on the ground floor. Another thing to love about the Stanley is its fabulous gym — lots of treadmills, bikes, weight machines, and a separate room where you can stretch. I also loved my room, which was large, quiet, and had a comfortable bed and good TV options. And I loved the plush carpeting in the hallways — really, really soft. Room service was good and fast. And the breakfast buffet was delicious.
