Cet hôtel est une ancienne maison de médecin situé au bord de mer. Chambre pas très grande sans vue sur la mer. Mais les aires communes ont une vue imprenable. Excellent service et facile de stationner

The location is outstanding with expansive views to the beautiful beach/harbor. The hotel is in an interesting historical district. We had dinner at the hotel to take advantage of the setting. The food and service was first class, easily the best dinner we had during our two weeks in Portugal. All of the staff were gracious and helpful. The rooms were nicely finished in period decor.

From the moment you get there the staff was excellent. The views are stunning. It was a lovely way to end. Our trip would stay again.

We loved our stay here! Such a beautiful setting. We were greeted by the sweetest check in person. She was soooaccomadating and helpful. Finding the place was a bit of a challenge but we made it. We enjoyed the breakfast as well.

Great place to stay. Right downtown a stone throw away from the castle. Joanna was amazing. She walked us around the hotel and gave us the history of building. The breakfast in the morning was the best. Huge selection of food to choose from.

Wonderful quiet historical building overlooking the sea. Very comfortable rooms and terrific breakfast. Staff was so kind and helpful, especially Joanna.... Highly recommend

Great stay more or less, our 3rd time so definitely recommend. Positives: Nice sized updated room with great wood floors, good lighting & storage, extra seating area & desk. Comfortable robes (and little Snickers!) provided, great shower & innovative vanity area. Cable TV had great channels to throw on movie to sleep to. Parking on-site & very close to the room via elevator. Small gym but usable for short time. Fantastic breakfast for such a small hotel. We had a friend join us for a breakfast, the amazing lady at the front wouldn't let me pay for him... how sweet is that !! (maybe I should be quiet about this haha) Negatives: >hard mattress, for the price should be better >fridge was off- understandable, but to turn it on you have to move the desk completely and crawl around to unplug a lamp to plug it in. Kind of ridiculous and an easy fix. >only the restaurant has amazing views of the lagoon/sea, all the rooms have windows that open up to parking for the condos next door. Probably not the hotel developer's fault, the more I have come to understand historic building restoration in Portugal.

Welcoming staff, good breakfast and convenient parking. Nice views of the port from the restaurant. Room was comfortable. Only downside, quite a few hairs in the bathroom.

An excellent property with only 1 failing. The WiFi doesn’t work in the guest rooms.

A charming hotel the restaurant was good and the staff were excellent. my only problem was that the wifi wasn't strong enough to work in my room.

A beautiful place with see view ; huge common places like library restaurant etc. with nice view; The room is a pleasant one and the staff is amazing; unfortunately the rooms have urban view only;

The hotel, room and common area are much better than those in the picture. Very very friendly staff, good breakfast, and a very short walk to town centre.

Very clean, service & breakfast great, feels newly remodeled & fresh. Free underground parking. Primary complaint if anything, is that only the main great room attached to the reception /bar area has the view. The rooms only have little windows that open to the street with bars over them (first floor)- the lack of balconies, views from that fantastic location, or even possibility to stick your head out for fresh air, was surprising. Would probably stay again though.
