Our room was spotless, quiet and perfect for our visit to Lisbon. Totally recommend.

The reception area looks nice and people were corteous. The bathrooms are clean, although small. The hotel needs serious renovations. The lobby will deceive you as it looks modern and elegant, but the rooms are old and extremely small. The halls smell of humidity and look dark. The beds are small and uncomfortable. One of the sheets had a blood stain that we did not notice until we removed the duvet cover. The feather illows stunk of vomit.The air conditioner did not lower the temperature enough. It stayed uncomfortably warm during the stay. The location is away from city center. It is NOT within walking distance. Metro stations are fairly close, though. I would not consider staying there again.

Property lobby is the highlight. All downhill from there. Extremely dated in rooms and the least effective ventilation system I’ve ever experienced. Technician came to room and suggested it was working. Language barrier but reality was deep within the vent there was evidence of cool air however blower motor did not circulate throughout the room. Heat was unbearable. Front staff barely acknowledged me in the morning as they knew they didn’t resolve the issue. Suggested they would bring fans and never did. Certainly not what I expected or paid for for an intercontinental designation. Very disappointed.

When booking I chose a location and somehow ended up at a different location I didn’t pick. Last day / night our room had a very strong smell of cleaning chemicals, so we got moved to a smaller and old room. Overall staff and area was good.

Although I only spent 1 night there checked in late and left early morning . it was a beautiful hotel. I would definitely stay there again, rooms were large and beds were comfortable .

A great stay. The staff makes this hotel exceptional. They are very friendly and they go above and beyond. Ruben helped with picture taking and getting us a fan and leaving a handwritten note to wish my husband happy birthday. Joao and Diogo helped with places to go and Joao had a sense of humor with getting a water gun and playing with my husband whose birthday it was. Tiago and Luis helped with checking us in and getting us extra towels. We would definitely stay here again because of them.

I would not recommend, the conditions of the rooms late not great, customer service terrible, the sink was clogged and instead of fixing it I got a sorry for the inconvenience, in this trip I have stayed in three Holiday Inn but I got very disappointed with this one

Great place

Hotel staff were amazing - very helpful, very accomodating. Location is great and price is right. Rooms are good, clean and very typical of Europe. Parking included which is very good for Lisbon. Minuses - air conditioning is ok as the building is old but the staff did bring up a fan which helped (there in August when it was very hot). Breakfast @ 15 Euros was pricey for what is was. Gym is a small room with aged equipment.
