Inn Seventies Cheap & Chic

We supposed to cheek in 14h00 we wait till 17h00 next the pool or inside the car because the room is not ready and need cleaning..the weather was so hot and tiredness after long drive…the building and cleaning taking place in some part of the building …bad experience.

We had broken air conditioner for 5 of the 6 nights and they would not give us any compensation, told us to take it up with Expedia.

As potencial to be so good, too far from city center but quite surroundings, place stinks of mould, mould in the shower and just a bad smell all the time. Our bed sheet had steins from god knows what. For an extra 50 or 100 pounds stay at the vila gale 2 mins away. We had breakfast there everyday

It’s a little out of the way but very good location otherwise. Internet service was spotty. Ummmm not sure of breakfast as I never offered or as it was part of package. Overall it’s good place but basic and clean!

Misleading description. Cheap but no chic☹️ No facilities ie no Bar or restaurant or shop. Self catering apartment had a kettle and microwave. Hob did not work. No towels, or even dustpan and brush. Midges and mosquitoes because damp so could not sit outside ☹️

Great place to stay, the room had a few faults but they were fixed very quickly, and the receptionist was so lovely and helpful. Overall good experience.

Excellent service at checkin! Our shower was a hand held sprayer only. Made it difficult to wash hair etc. Very dark hall, and loud stairs even if you were tip-toeing to try to be quiet. Overall great place, a little bit quieter and out of the way of the hustle and bustle.

Nice studio, however owner has given Expedia wrong zip code meaning it took a long 2 hours to find despite being only a 10 minute walk from the station. Zip code given leads to a building site on other side of town - beware of this issue! A nice studio, however worth noting that it is a little cut off from town and requires walking down an unlit track at night. Also the site is not well lit so plenty of scope for falling down steps.

The place is great.Close to the beach,nice food in Baleal.The room is freshly renovated and the staff is great.

We loved the room. Breakfast was outstanding! The staff were exceptional. The beds were springy and the wifi was very spotty.

Hotel in nice setting, room poor standard of maintainence, very basic facilities. The TV didn't work on our arrival, despite reporting this nothing was done. Outside steps very dangerous, loose and badly lit. We were not offered choice of room when booking. spare bed just basic camp bed. No real greeting given, just taken to our room, no information given on surrounding area, transport, where to get food etc.

Remote and hard to find; not walking friendly. Unfortunately we don't speak Portuguese and with the evening manager English was very limited. So we took the train to the farthest station and walked twice as much as we could have. The Lagos station is much closer. Moldy and with the smell of cats, basement room with no windows. Our first night was terrible, I told the morning manager we had to have a new room or a new hotel. "Are you in room 12?" "Let me see what I can do." They transferred us to a very nice room on the ground level with nice airflow, clean and neutral smell. The breakfast is great, way more than most places. Even eggs cooked to order.

3 stelle per la camera, buia e con pochi appoggi per le valigie ed assenza di privacy, infatti l’unico modo per ricevere luce naturale è aprire completamente le tende che espone la camera ed il letto agli sguardi dei passanti. Per il resto non abbiamo avuto problemi, bella la piscina, personale cortese e gentile, ci hanno offerto due drink di benvenuto in un bar lounge in centro. Camera pulita ma un po scomoda, le due porte dei bagni se aperte impediscono completamente il passaggio e si possono aprire solo alternativamente.

Très bon séjour, l'appartement était très propre. La cuisine manque d'équipements notamment d'ustensiles. L'extérieur de la résidence laisse à désirer au niveau de l'entretien, des voitures en mauvais état qui sont stationnées depuis des lustres, des marches d'escalier irrégulières et dangereuses, etc . Un endroit très sympa qui pourrait gagner en qualuté si l'extérieur était vraiment remis en état.

Ankunft war katastrophal,alle Türen geschlossen,ab 14.30 Uhr Rezeption (dunkler Abstellraum) erst besetzt. Mitarbeiterin an der Rezeption war aber sehr freundlich, ansonsten gab es kein Personal,ausser 1 x die Woche Putzfrau,was ok ist. Keine Speisen und Getränke, geschweige Restaurant zu der Zeit vorhanden. Man muss alles,was man benötigt,weit schleppen. Unterkunft nicht wie beschrieben. Bett sehr unbequem, ansonsten Wohnung ok. Pool nicht sauber,vom Winter war noch altes Wasser drin und wurde nicht gereinigt. Auflagen der Liegen auch nicht benutzbar,alle voll Wasser gesaugt,wurden nicht im Trockenen untergebracht. Gelände steht voller Autos, kein besonderer Anblick und ganzes Gelände voller Müll. Elektronik vom Türöffner funktioniert auch nicht immer. Im Dunkeln keine Beleuchtung an den Toren und oberen Gelände.

hotellet lukker kl 19.30 og vores fly er forsinket. vi måtte finde et andet hotel for natten. ingen hjælp. kommer dagen efter og får vores værelse, der lugter mugenet og der er mug på væg mod badeværelse, små kryp i sengen, (IFØLGE GOOGLE ER DET BEDBUCKS) vi køre igen og finder et andet hotel.

Depois de ter feito reserva através da vossa plataforma, a dia 21 de Agosto, quando chego no dia reservado, dia 03 de Setembro, os proprietários dizem que não têm qualquer reserva!!! Depois encontraram a reserva, mas que não fazem reservas só de 1 noite!!!! Cheguei ao estabelecimento às 19h e sem sítio onde ficar, e não me disponibilizaram nada, acusando a plataforma do erro e não me ajudaram. Uma vergonha!!! É velho e são pessoas sem carácter. NÃO RECOMENDO.
