This place was great,spar, coffee shop and bar 10min walk,the bistro on site was brilliant owners very friendly food was great,pool clean,very relaxing place. Only downful was arriving in the dark and trying to find apartment which wasn't greatly lite up nor signed well

Apartments were clean and plenty off room cleaning staff very friendly nice clean swimming pool and area around pool good restaurant at pool good menu and priced well not many choices of beer at pool bar staff at pool bar very nice especially irish lady that looked after us bus stop just outside for marina or albufeira great taco bar and restaurant 5 minutes walk beside spar shop all staff at predo do golf were very frendly

Stayed about 13 years ago so knew that it was good, simple accommodation, set in nice grounds. Everything you need, although basic in some ways to ensure you’re self-sufficient ie fridge-freezer, cooler, microwave etc

Nice area to stay not to busy, room not really that clean, melted cheese from a pizza still in the microwave, black bits of something in the bottom of the fridge, and on the floor in the outside area there was brown nasty stuff which had been trod in not nice, reported it reception, it was still the same when we left

Nice and peaceful, pool & bistro area were lovely. A stress free trip for a family of 5. Good location for getting into Vilamoura and surrounding towns. Bus worked out more expensive for us so we used the friendly and reasonable Taxi’s in the area.

The room facilities were fantastic, the kitchen was very well equipped. The whole break was fantastic, the only thing that let the stay down was the fact the bar only opened on the Friday night and the restaurant was closed.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at Prado do Golf but there is definitely room for improvement. First of all, the reception is unmanned from 6pm so if you arrive after that, all you get is an envelope stuck to the door with a map to get to your room and instructions. There is no-one to speak to should you need anything. The bar also closes quite early (around 10pm I think) so if you arrive after that and want food or drink, you'd have to go out of the accommodation and look for something local. The rooms are very dated and could look so much better with a bit of modernisation. Our villa had broken tiles and cracks in windows that really should be fixed and my Mum & Dad's had a patio that had clearly been broken into but never repaired. Our door handle fell off on the first day so had to be fixed then a few days later, our key would not come out of the door when it was unlocked, only when it was locked?!? I reported it to reception but they could not do anything about it as it was a Sunday and we left the next day. Other than that it is a decent base, the bar served decent food but mainly pub grub typed food and the pool was nice and well kept. Overall we enjoyed our stay but it really needs some money spent on moderinising and repairs.

We originally thought we had booked the Prado Do Villa's which we have stayed in a number of times, the pictures do not differ too much at all. This is the sister site and is apartment blocks of 4 instead of individual apartments. The roads around the site are poor and need of resurfacing, the apartments are all very dated and in need of a refresh. The site does not have a fence around it allowing wide life in and out, which is also not ideal for families with children who want to play outside the apartment. Although the apartment is kept clean and tidy there is a number of issues with vents being clogged with bird nests, apartments having a damp smell about them, bathrooms not having suitable vents, kitchens require an update, beds were horrendous to sleep on, TV was from the 90's with a very poor signal that no channel was worth watching. The site did have wifi but very intermittent and could only really be used stood outside the reception block. Disappointed with the apartment overall but the services like the bar, cafe, pool were very good and the staff at the bar were very helpful throughout the holiday.

I had a late check in. The staff had thoughtfully left the heating turned up and lights left on so I had a nice cosy room to welcome me on a cold January night. The staff were very pleasant most helpful with information about the area.
