Excellent stay few minutes from Elvas

The hotel was nothing short of beautiful.The receptionist was very accomidating, nice and helpfull. We had a delicious dinner at the hotel resturant, and on top of the tasty dinner with unique dishes of the area, staying at the hotel will earn you a 10 percent discount at the resturant. The river right next to the hotel was a great and fun place to hangout with family and their was a very easy access to it through the hotel. Would definently recomend a stay here.

So much was excellent. The value for money is spot on and even though the restaurant is pricey for Portugal, it's still very good value. Breakfast was far more than we'd expected, especially after some poor offerings elsewhere. Fresh cake, cereal, meat, cheese, scrambled eggs, tea, coffee, yoghurt, fruit, juice, etc. Only suggestion to Sever would be to tidy it up a bit in places - outside litter pick, replace odd bits of tatty furniture (our bed frame and one shelf), strengthen the WiFi signal. Small quibbles for what is a fantastic location on the river, fabulous view of Marvão castle from the breakfast room. Lots of National walks, several of which go past the front door. For the price we paid Sever was a superb bargain.

Nice hotel close to the castle in Marvao ( about 10 min drive).

I loved taking a stroll in the shade by the river (and a swim) and sitting on my balcony drinking coffee in the morning and looking across the river and up at the castle and white storks' nest. The restaurant is excellent and reasonably priced. For those who like to walk there is an ancient calzads through a cork oak forest to the castle.

Basic but clean with friendly, helpful staff

Had requested 2 beds but not available and room only has double bed. Room very compact with very poor lighting but great view of river and Marvão. Ate in restaurant and it was excellent

Well situated to visit Marvao and to cross into Spain. Very good restaurant connected to the hotel which was fortunate because nowhere else was open for dinner in October

Everything was great- the hotel had a restaurant on site also which was convenient. The rooms were clean and quiet too.

O café da manhã é fresco, com bom atendimento, mas poderia ser um pouco mais variado

O que gostei: O atendimento na recepção foi excelente, bem como o tratamento sempre simpático e gentil de todos os funcionários do hotel. A localização do hotel é excelente, com uma visão linda da montanha onde está Marvão. Portagem é uma localidade muito agradável. O café da manhã também é muito bom. O que não gostei: O quarto triplo minúsculo. Na verdade, colocaram uma cama de solteiro em um quarto duplo, que já era muito pequeno e ficou com menos espaço ainda. O banheiro também é minúsculo e não havia aonde pendurar a ducha do chuveiro, tendo que segurá-la com uma das mãos para tomar banho, o que é muito desagradável. Muita cortina e camurça no quarto, o que não é bom para quem tem alergia a poeira, passamos muito mal. Além disso, a referida camurça está toda ensebada de sujeira, precisa ser substituída com urgência.

Komfortabelt og behagelig opphold v/ hotellet. Hyggelige ansatte ved innsjekk og helt gjennomsnittlig frokost. Anbefaler ikke restauranten som tilhører hotellet, noe overpriset for tilbudet og personalet.
