A hotel used on and off for over 20 years but it desperately needs reconstruction. The rooms get very stuffy in the summer and the window only opens a few centimetres. Also what use is a bar that's only open Monday to Friday 0900 to 1500? Staff though are excellent and deserve a better working environment.

They even gave me a sandwich because I had to leave early, I couldn’t stay for breakfast. The window couldn’t be closed properly, it needed repair.

Clean, comfy bed, breakfast okay. Facility old, in need of renovation. Staff effecient, not engaging, english okay. Close to train station, overal it met our needs, and a couple of staff (Marie and Michal with pony tail) made extra efforts to help.

This hotel has no Wi-Fi in the rooms. In my 2 days I had no Wi-Fi. I reported it to Adam Jedlicka who is the most depressed, miserable and unhelpful person you will ever see. He lied that provider has a problem and it would be sorted. It didn’t get sorted. Next day he lied again saying Wi-Fi is available but it wasn’t. Reception doesn’t answer the phone. A new lady on Night shift asked mechanic to do something and Wi-Fi still wasn’t available in the room. It was only available in the lobby. I was told by Adam Jedlicka, the receptionist to sit in the lobby to get Wi-Fi.

Recepcionist was unpleasant. Rooms description inside more information is wrong! There is stated smoking and non smoking rooms but the fact is there is no smoking rooms, even any smoking area inside the hotel. Good breakfast and atmosphere in the restaurant.

I had a pleasant stay. It was over the Easter weekend and so was quiet most places.Even the hotel seemed to be running on low staff, but it didn't impact on me. The talk I heard was that this place was to be torn down in the near future. This is a pity, as it was quite OK inside.

The hotel is directly across from the station (it's the ugly tower block spoiling the view) so ultra handy for exploring the area by train. My room was hot and stuffy with no aircon and the windows were hard to prop open. Oddly you could still hear train and tram noise with them closed even though I was 8 floors up, great views though. Staffing at the front desk was rather erratic but if there was somebody they could be relied upon to help. Queues for the breakfast if you go early (7-8am) and almost always for the lifts at anytime. Good value in my opinion.
