I was so comfortable there, i extended my stay 3 more days. Good access to the south of the island from Soufriere. Jayna, Olivia, and Mr. Charles were so sweet and accommodating.

For me this hotel was perfect, right in the center of Soufriere, 2 min walk from the mini bus terminal. The rooms are spacious and each with a balcony. Staff there is so sweet and kind.

There was AC,very friendly human beings,I sleep like a baby Thank you we will be back

This property did not hold up to it photos or reviews as well as the the commodity that it says it offer there was no free microwave, the refrigerator was dirty also the shower the shower plastic was very dirty. This stay was very disappointing.

good budget location downtown close to the water taxi pier to the beaches. Room was airy and comfortable with good working AC but fridge and bedside lamp did not work. Parking is difficult in the street.

Water view phenomenal. Brief hours at front desk. Street parking only. Bring toiletries.

This hotel was awful. The reviews online are likely from people who live in the area. The hotel does not have parking and the village has almost no parking available. Once we found parking, we got mugged walking 1 block from the car to the hotel. The bathroom has no light, was dingy/unclean and even the hotel room had a broken AC and coffee spills on the floor that were not cleaned up. Do not stay at this place. Waste of money.

Friendly helpful staff. Large, clean but slightly tired rooms. Convenient location for all attractions in the south of the island.

The Downtown Hotel is at a convenient location. The beach is a five minute walk. Restaurants and shops are within walking distance. Bring your own shampoo and hair conditioner. Also, the hotel rooms only have Type G outlets.

The stay was lovely. The staff is wonderful and caring about their guests and they seem very happy to be apart of this coorporation. My stay felt like a home away from home. The hotel is attached to a shopping center which makes it very convenient to buy all your shopping needs. The hotel also have a lot of parking so it made it convenient for my guest to park. The room is spacious the balcony is beautiful and I stayed at the Mountain View and sea view which was equally as gorgeous. The room service for cleaning was great, they also provided cleaning service which I appreciate a lot since I stayed here for some time. There is a beautiful pharmacy, a couple of clothing shops, duty free like shop which is also nice for guests to use. The air conditioning system worked perfectly. The hotel rooms also provide a refrigerator and microwave which I used quite frequently so was happy about that. The beds are nice and comfortable. The closet is spacious and also the drawers in the room are beautiful. There is a heating pot I loved to use as well. I feel overall very pleased with this trip and I would like to recommend it for anyone that is looking for a fun relaxing holiday by themselves or their loved ones. I want to thank hotels.com for the recommendation and making the hotel visible so I could enjoy it. I really also loved the grocery stores and shopping around the hotel, the local people here in Soufriere are so kind and they make you feel very welcomed. Thank you very much.

Loved the staff the room and location. Felt very comfortable coming back and forth. Lovely location ocean view and view of the mountain is phenomenal. I will recommend this place to friends and family. I wanted to thank hotels.com for the recommendation. The shower pressure was very good the air conditioning worked perfect. The fridge and microwave really was convenient for the days and nights I wanted to stay in and relax and have a hearty meal. The balcony is one of the most beautiful features. The maid was very friendly and kind, she did a great job cleaning and you can tell she is happy to be apart of the staff. The front desk really helped with recommending restaurants. I love the fact that you walk out of your hotel room and everything is right in front of you, supermarket,clothing stores, souvenir shops are lovely. The mall in the hotel is beautiful and I really appreciate that there is a restaurant that is opened till late. The mall has everything you need a pharmacy included. This hotel reminds me of a home away from home and there is nothing I can say that needs to be changed or altered. You also get a good feeling and energy once you first walk into the hotel. You feel that everybody really cares for each other and I really am so lucky to have had this experience and will come back with my own family one day. I feel a feeling of motivation as well because everyone is relaxed while they are at work with smiles on their faces which gave me a very good feeling inside.

TV wasn’t connected/working and there was a mouse in our room! Soufrière was not a nice town either.

The hotel serves all the basic needs for a stay in central Soufriere. It is on the top floor, above a small shopping mall, which gives great views and helps with reducing the street noise. Centrally located, there is a supermarket, ATM and bars/restaurants very close by. All staff were helpful and welcoming, including the security downstairs. There is no lift if you have lots of luggage or mobility issues.

Incredible location for a fraction of the price of the resorts in the area. If you want to experience Soufriere without getting a taxi every time you want to go anywhere, this is the place to be!

Downtown location. Close to water taxis. Several restaurants. Great for immersion in St Lucia culture. Grocery store nearby. View rooms (8) see the Petit Piton and Caribbean Sea to the west. Great sunsets.

It’s very quiet but the floor in the room should be cleaned better. Too much steps to carry heavy suitcase up and down stairs.as I had an injury going up and down stairs was difficult

If you want an authentic experience of st Lucia stay at the Downtown Hotel. We got the holiday at a good price which made it affordable to stay in st Lucia. The hotel is at the top of the shopping centre In the small town of soufriere. The room we stayed in was overlooking the town and was spacious and clean. If you pay a bit more you can get a room with a sea view overlooking the harbour which is a quieter. The hotel is a budget hotel but the rooms have excellent air conditioning, hot water, cable tv,a fridge and microwave. For eating we went to The Dream Bar just down the road and Fedo's which is a longer walk both being excellent for local food at good prices. The Sulpher springs and Diamond falls are not far. There are two larger supermarkets, banks and local bakeries . There are plenty of people offering boat trips and other tours around the island. Like everywhere make sure you get the right price.

Good enough room - we had 2 double beds and a brand new a/c unit to keep us nice and cool in a large room with ok bathroom facilities. Kettle, fridge and microwave. Large flat screen TV with plenty English channels! No hotel facilities to speak of, other than the helpful staff but it is in the middle of town. It's fine for a night or few, but not a bargain in my opinion.

The hotel is on the fourth floor, so lots of stairs, our room was on the side of the piton/sea view so the view from the balcony was really amazing. The staff is very accommodating, they do listen to you and act accordingly as long as your requests are reasonable. There is a new sandwich place, a drug store, a grocery and lots of other very convenient shops right in the same building and many around the hotel like the new Tik Tak bar & souvenir shop, a small vegetable & fruits market where locals sell their products. The location of this hotel is perfect, I would say it is in the heart of St.Lucia because it is near all the main attractions of the island. So you wouldn't need to rent a car. No bedbugs or any other bugs, there were some very tiny little ants on the balcony, not many and they stayed on the balcony, never crossed the balcony door into the room. In the span of our two weeks stay, we had two or three days of very loud music in the evening and at night, because of a night club without walls or ceiling near by. but the music stopped around two a.m. at the latest. Among all the visits we did, the one to Morne Coubaril Estate was the most enjoyable thanks to the beautiful scenery and to our very kind, knowledgeable and competent Guide Mrs. Sendyann who was able to answer all our questions with great detail & precision. Over all , we really enjoyed our second trip to this one of the most beautiful islands in the world.
