Great hotel with great amenities, spa was a nice added bonus. Breakfast was great, will definitely stay again.

We paid extra for an executive room with access to the lounge. Room was on the top floor and was dated. There were horrible splash stains on the base of the bed. Only when we checked in were we told that food and alcohol in the executive lounge were only available between 5pm and 8pm - the time we would be out. We got back at 7.50 and headed up to chill out in the 'lounge'. It was more like a staff canteen. No sofas. People playing loud music on their phone! The minute we entered the member of staff shouted "you've got 10 mins before the food is taken away!". We also found out that the fridge with soft drinks would be locked at 8pm as well leaving the only choices of tea, coffee, fruit juice, and water, pretzels and cookies. It wasn't very 'executive' or relaxing so we went back to the room to watch TV. TV had two remote controls with instructions however we tried for a long time and couldn't get the sky remote to work. We eventually gave up. Bed was comfy and shower was good pressure and breakfast was amazing!! Tip is to go down early. We were there at 8.30 and it was great however I've stayed before and gone down later when the queue for breakfast stretched right back to the lifts to the rooms (which are still being upgraded despite the work starting in June 2025 making for long waiting times). I've stayed here before in a normal room and had a better experience. I really wish I hadn't paid extra for the executive option. It wasn't worth it. A very disappointing visit!

Access to the club lounge was good value for money and great for a lighter, quieter breakfast. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Room was clean. Very hot though, and window could not be opened. Air con noisy. Apart from this it was a comfortable stay. Delicious breakfast and helpful, friendly staff.

House keeping issue, room was not cleaned daily basis, garbage left in the room next day, not picked up.

The reception staff made me feel I’d come home. Great vibe!

We have stayed at the Crowne Plaza a few times and have always found it to very good, staff, food and rooms have been excellent. I don’t agree with overnight parking costs for residents.

I really enjoyed the Breakfast. They had local specialties to try, which were delicious, in addition to the usual hot breakfast buffet - Haggis, Smoked Haddock, fried soda bread and Black pudding. My room was spacious, clean and comfortable. I had full length mirrors that allowed me to prepare for my conference. I would stay again

Great hotel. Great location

Room was very clean, beds comfy. Only poor thing was the lift situation. One lift was out but we had extended waits for the lift. Waiting 10 minutes at one point.

The building is old and it is showing. The AC in our room was barely cooling down the room and as a result we were not able to sleep well for a couple of nights when the outside weather was warm.

This hotel is in serious need of renovations. The elevators were a disaster, and neither the air conditioning nor the heating worked in our room. All the remote controls and even the safe had dead batteries, so we had to repeatedly call for service to have them replaced. The sliding closet doors were broken, and even the ironing board would not stay up properly. There is no concierge service, and instead, staff were handing out promotional pamphlets for travel companies.

Lovely hotel with pool, gorgeous bar restaurant lobby area. Great location , close to sec, hydro and science centre.

Nice hotel, very central, helpful staff couldn’t be nicer, especially the night staff on reception; we were arriving for check in after 11.00 p.m. and it wasn’t an issue. Breakfast was top class too. Thanks to all

Carpets need replacing in suite and rooms need a deep clean Dinner and breakfast excellent Staff very good everywhere. Jordan was exceptionally helpful

Fabulous staff, quick check in, we had an upgraded room which was nice on the 16th floor but the furniture still need updating. Lovely meal snd breakfast with great choices.

Check in was easy, staff helpful, room clean but bed was terrible. Was meant to be a super king but obviously 2 beds joined together, which is not uncommon, however, there was a massive sag in the middle making it uncomfortable if you lay within about a foot of the centre of the bed.

Our room was great with fantastic views, comfortable and clean. Access to the club lounge was a bonus too.
