Holiday Inn Express DUNDEE by IHG, an IHG Hotel

Everything is good about the hotel. Only negative is that it is situated at the end of the Tay Road Bridge and on a major junction so it's a bit noisy at the front

We asked for an accessible room on booking and on arrival, we were given an accessible room but the walk to get there was long and not accessible for those with limited mobility. When we queried this we were told that it was because we had booked a twin room despite it being the only room available and that this is where the twin accessible rooms are and we should have phoned them to arrange a suitable room, which wasn’t made clear on the website, and we felt our views and comments and my wife’s disabilities weren’t taken into account. Apart from that the room was comfortable and clean and the rest of the staff were friendly.

Reliably good. Only negative was some of the room lighting didn’t work. Nice free breakfast with great views of rhe Tay bridge.

We had a room on the 4th floor with a great view of the Tay bridge. The hotel has a great breakfast selection and it's a good way to start your day before exploring Dundee. Easy walking distance to the V&A and Discovery Point. Bus stop outside the hotel takes you to Broughty Ferry if you want to look round the castle and sit on the beach.

Very helpful and friendly staff. The hotel was lovely and clean, the room was comfortable and the breakfast was a fabulous way to start my day. Location wise is perfect for walking to many attractions and bars and restaurants.

Great breakfast and plenty of it - right up until 10.00!

Room was clean and modern, with everything we needed for 1 night stay. Was disappointed that we had to return to reception after check in as no bedding was left for sofa bed upon arrival. upon our return it had been dropped off in room. Sofa bed was not especially comfortable while main bed was. At breakfast Hotel appeared short staffed which led to breakfast items being low or finished with no one to replenish them. Tables were left for periods of time uncleared as only one person working in dining area, she did her best to clear tables, help customers and replenish food but needed help. Generally hotel nice, all staff we spoke with were friendly and did their job as well as they were able.

Really good value and breakfast included which was also nice with lots of choice. Centre of Dundee and would def recommend

Room was good but at the back of the hotel with view of a wall and ugly roof everything else for the price If we had a room to the front of the hotel it would have been very good

The property is located close to the city centre. Shops and restaurants are close bye. The property is very clean.

Stop over on way home from long holiday. Arrived late in the evening. Friendly reception, great quiet room

We were booked in for 2 nights, first night we were allocated a disabled persons room,which was not in good condition at all, I asked for a change of room for my second night and the receptionist was very helpful and we were given a far nicer room, other than that it was alright.
