I went with a friend fof her birthday up the west coast of scotland and we decided to extend our stay and chose the Hollytree last minute. But what a fabulous choice! The views were incredible, the room was very spacious and the twin beds felt comfy and cosy! The lesuire facilities were also great - pool and jacuzzi where we met some other tourists. The breakfast was superb and the hosts were ever so polite - Magdalene was ever so nice and told us of nice walks to do round the area.
Over all very friendly and amazing place would suit family, friends or just a romantic getaway with a partner🙂

Fabulous stay at the Holly Tree Inn, everything was top notch, the luxury room (14) had fantastic views, the staff were friendly and attentive, the food fabulous at both dinner and breakfast and the hotel was spotless. My only surprise is tgat this hotel didn’t have a higher star rating. Ill be back 👍

Lovely hotel by Loch Linnhe. Used to be an old train station . Very quirky but very nice . Clean and friendly staff. Good a little bit pricey but otherwise a great stay

The room was a good size. Reasonably clean but there were areas in bathroom and around the windows that had slight damp/mould.
Feel that the public areas were fit for purpose but tired. Think this could be a cracking hotel if it had a bit of an upgrade.

The property apparently closes doors around midnight. We came a little late one day and had no idea how to enter the building. Found a way via the pool area into the lobby but then the corridors to our rooms were closed. After knocking on doors, the hotel staff came out of their room and were upset at us for knocking. All they had to do was leave a note on the door how to get in with your key, no such note was there.
The female staff was ok but the male staff was very rude.
