Motel One Edinburgh - Princes

My experience with Motel One Edinburgh - Princes was a very pleasant one. The staff was extremely friendly, and facilitated my check in even though I was slightly early. I was also able to heat up my own food with the staff’s help and they did not once complain or decline helping me. Rooms were comfortable and large, and the location was exceptionally convenient with food and transport all within walking distance.

Close to the tram stop and Waverley rail station so very easy journey from the airport. Hotel staff very helpful and friendly and the bar, restaurant and rooms are very well presented. A short walk (10 mins) from the Royal Mile, The playhouse (7 mins) and Holyrood Park (20 mins) makes it an ideal location.

For the price this hotel was perfect. Staff were so friendly and accommodating. So close to the the railway station and shops/ pubs restaurants. Breakfast was plentiful and relaxing no queue. Bedroom was spacious and spotlessly clean.A treat was the beautiful chocolates left in the room for valentines day, such a lovely touch.

Fabulous hotel, we got a very warm welcome on arrival and were delighted to have a room upgrade, it's very clean and the bed comfortable, appreciated the tea making facilities, location was ideal for us, would definitely stay again

Brilliant location just a few minutes walk to Waverley station and the bus stop for the airport. Great hotel Good size room, clean. well maintained and a comfortable bed. Good breakfast though no hot food provided. Only negative point is the lack of security as reception is on the first floor and there is nothing stopping people entering the hotel and accessing the bedroom floors.

Hotel is well located across the street from the train station and had everything we needed for our stay.

The hotel was well located just opposie the station and close to center shops and museums. It is quite functional but just what we wanted. A clean and warm bed. Will be back again when visiting Edinburgh

Can’t beat the location. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The bar/restaurant on floor 1 was nice and had a great vibe. Room was small and was given a queen bed instead of a king, but the view of the city and Calton Hill made up for it.

I loved this hotel. Friendly helpful staff, modern comfortable room with all the amenities (and I could open the window for fresh air). Very convenient for travel hubs and sites/shopping in the city.

Loved the location, right across from the Waverly Train station and lots of pubs and restaurants writing walking distance. The hotel was amazing, with a bar and coffee available, pretty much all day, which was amazing when you come in cold. Lol The morning breakfast was great, the staff is so lovely, they are the best!!! I should warn, it is a small basic room and the area outside can be noisy, there are a lot of pubs down the alley and a nightclub. If you are on that side of the hotel, you will hear the traffic AND all the bottles being collected LOL that is very loud!! But, of you don't mind that, you are golden!
