Property itself was very pretty and felt very traditional. Liked this aspect. Liked the bright little room, TV and A/C worked fine. Didn’t like the lack of information on arrival about where our room was. Bathroom was attached but not ensuite ie shared - would never have booked if I’d realised this beforehand. NO futon mattress just a really thin ‘pad’ of material. Really uncomfortable. But what I really disliked was that although the mat had a cotton cover, the top cover was a thin nylon cover with no cotton and smelt unclean. Really surprised at this. I could have stood the lack of comfort but not the lack of clean covers. Spent one night here of the original 2 we booked.

We stayed at the family room and it was great. Plenty of space for 4 people, clean and with a yard for the kids to play in front of the room. You need a car to move around, but other than that it is perfect for an authentic Korean rural experience. It would be useful to receive more instructions to check-in... we didn't know what to do at our arrival.

We stayed in the suite, with traditional sitting room and modern bathroom. Really enjoyed the stay in the traditional Korean house. If budget allowed, highly recommend you to stay in the suite. It is as good as the pictures in the website.

The guest house is a beautiful 19th century hanok. It's conveniently close to the center and highway yet somehow remains excluded and makes you feel like you're miles away from the traffic and noise of the city. The rooms were spacious and the sleeping mats and pillows very comfortable. The check-in was a bit confusing because there was no one at the property when we arrived. The owners don't really pay much attention as they're going about their daily tasks but that was actually good, as you could enjoy sitting outside the room sort of feeling like you're home. We loved how peaceful and quiet it was and enjoyed reading on the porch in the morning. Overall a great experience, would definitely recommend if you're a low-maintenance traveler that doesn't need the staff to be tripping over their feet for you.

the room was clean, the bedding was comfortable enough. if you must need a bed to sleep, I don't recommend. otherwise this beautiful Korean traditional house is a good option for visitors.

작은방은 욕실 화장실이 공동이라 화장실 이용이 특히 밤에 아주 불편했어요

너무만족

편할려고 간 여행.... 불편함 많았어요....

객실에 생수 준비가 되어있지 않아서 조금 불편했어요 우리는 숙소에 들어와서 짐을 풀고 나갔기에 생수가 없는것을 확인하고 숙소로 들어올때 생수등을 구입하고 들어왔지만, 그냥 모르고 늦은밤에 들어오면 당황할것 같아요

한옥 체험으로 적합한 것 같아요

분위기나 외관은 마음에 듭니다. 이불, 수건도 깨끗하고 냄새 않나고 청결해서 좋았습니다. 하지만 화장실이 너무 습해서 변기, 수도곡지등 곰팡이가 피었는데 관리가 않되었고 갑자기 지네같은 발 많이 달린 벌레들이 나오더군요. 사장님이 나이가 많으셔서 관리하기 힘든신지 화장실이 젤 불편했습니다.

급하게 늦은시간 잠만자고 나올꺼 같아 별당채 예약했었는데~ 욕실 냄세가 너무났었어요 ㅠ 애들이며 남편이 엄청 투덜거렸네요 욕실 사진이 없어 기대는 안했지만 냄세는 다음날 아침이 최고였어요ㅠ

유서 깊은 고택에서 숙박하게 되어 행복하였습니다. 아쉬운 점은 사전에 정보 부족으로 치암고택에 대한 해설을 후손께서 해준신다 하였는데 몰라 놓치게 되어 이쉬웠습니다니다
