First, I would absolutely return, so none of the following critiques would impact my decision to stay.
Critiques: there is no restaurant on site; there is no rooftop area; there is no microwave in the room; the curtains are a bit dated. There definitely is no pool. Maybe some suites, or a suite, has a pool…I don’t know about that. Could only get about 4 inches of hot water into bathtub and wasn’t hot enough to make adding cold water an option - so even if tub was beautiful, it wasn’t functionally that helpful.
Hard to reach places were dusty upon arrival (behind bedside table, above head board, tall lamps, bathroom blinds) - after I dusted them off, I had zero complaints about the daily cleaning. Everything within eyesight was clean on arrival and kept clean.
The coffee bar is closed. No water wine or coffee. Nothing. But water and wine displays, along with chalkboard menus do give the idea it should be actively open.
Pluses: the room was HUGE; bathroom was modern and felt posh; overall aesthetic 3.5/5. Staff was incredibly kind and helpful (really! Very helpful!). Area of town had a Korean, not tourist vibe and there were restaurants galore. I was on the 12th floor looking east and had a GREAT VIEW of Lotte tower. Probably wouldn’t want to stay on lower levels below floor 4 or 5 - might be too close to road and certainly not much view.
I stayed for 3 weeks; if I were returning for only a few days, would definitely stay again. For a long stay, I now know other options.

They overcharge you here based on your booking with Expedia and then don't offer any assistance in your language and if you call and they hear English they say sorry and hang up. This hotel was a great find! I really enjoyed staying here. The room is really big compared to other properties in Seoul. Very clean with daily housekeeping. The bathroom is beautiful, with separate shower and a very large bathtub. The king size bed (very rare in Seoul) was super comfortable. The area is amazing with lots of restaurants, convenience stores and shopping nearby. Only 5 min walk to two metro stations and 20 mins to Gangnam and 30 mins to Myeongdong. The only downside is it was mostly unstaffed when I was there. Self check-in/out, but I didn't mind this. For the price, I would definitely stay here again.

Room is huge, very comfortable for family. Room was clean and cleaned everyday. Staff was very kind, helpful and always smiling. Staff was always ready to help. Parking was always available and easily accessible. I would recommend this place 100 times. So close to subway station, great restaurants and cafes nearby.

Perfect example of Korean hospitality: check-in and check-out were super fast and efficient, the room spacious and perfectly clean, bed and pillows were great quality. This place was ideal for a short stay in Seoul, its location is within a lively district with restaurants, cafes and many shops, well connected by subway but not noisy at night. I'd definitely stay here again!

Although the staff was kind, they were only available for short periods of time each day. Staffing was also very limited. Overall, the hotel has all the potential to be everything it advertises, but it appears that post Olympics it has not been able to retain the level of cleanliness, amenities, or other offerings listed on the website. Even little things like not having a microwave in the room and having to go to the lobby for a basic Ramen was outside of the level I expected for this type of Hotel. Having traveled extensively the last six months I feel like the bed quality was subpar, I had to clean and dust areas that are not often used, and it just did not live up to the expectations that the pictures and advertising provided. It was, however, extremely convenient to where we needed to be, and very accessible to public transportation. I would consider a mid-level hotel at best.
