Savoy Hotel

Conveniently located in Myeondong. The staff is very friendly and the hotel is clean.

Positives: We stayed 3 glorious nights at the Savoy Hotel and could not fault our stay. The location is second to none with the vibe of Myeongdong embrassing our every being. Beds were so very comfortable which is a clincher for us when it comes to reviews. Negatives: Only staying 3 nights.... wish it was longer...... Osaka Japan, here we come.

The room was surprisingly quiet even though it was busy outside! Amazing location, loved being right in the middle of Myeondong shops- it made shopping very easy. The staff were lovely, our room was clean, spacious, it had everything that we needed. We loved the water re-filling station on every floor- we made great use of it. They had a laundrymat outside for cheap and a CVS right outside too.

Savoy Hotel was a good choice for our trip. It is conveniently located in Myeongdong. It was great to walk downstairs and just a few steps away were the stores and food stalls. Front desk were all helpful and very accommodating. Staff spoke English well. Hotel is very family friendly. Water filters were in every floor and we had no problem drinking the filtered water. Hotel is next to 24 hour convenient store. The Hotel entrance is also hidden located in a safe and secure area of the block.

Very close to the subway station. Street shopping is just right away when you walk out of the hotel. Very 熱鬧。

The room looks dated and had a bit of smell. Nevertheless, it was VERY spacious that it could fit another bed. Location is A+

Great location near public transportation and popular site seeing areas. Highly recommend if you want to be in the heart of Myeongdong area. Laundry facilities were outside with two washers and dryers.

Its location is very convenient. It is in the heart of Meongdong, the shopping district. Breakfast is excellent.

Check in was super easy, staff was very friendly we were up to our room in record time. Our flight came in at 8:40pm so by the time we came to the hotel (riding the airport limo bus) it was almost 11pm. It was so convenient having a GS25 convenience store connected to the hotel and we were able to grab food and eat ramen at the store as it was equipped with hot water dispenser, a microwave and a little dining area to eat. There are maps available in the lobby for those who needed it. Staff always greeting us as we came and went. For convenience there were magnets to be placed on your door letting the staff know if you wanted your room made or if you didn't want to be disturbed. The hotel was within the shopping street and night market, vendor's for food would be out by 4pm. Restaurants and stores were all over. There were red angels *(folks in red shirts and caps) in the streets to help you with maps and guide you where you want to go. The hotel had a scale in the lobby entrance so you can check if your luggage was within the 23kg/50lbs limit. At our early morning check out another friendly staff was there when we returned our rooms and thanked us and bade us a safe flight home. Thank you Savoy Hotel for an awesome stay, we will choose you again for our next visit to South Korea!

Good location, good price, room was very small, automatic lights came on at night a few times

The stay was disappointing. We paid $285 for two twin beds, plus $40 for an extra bed—far too expensive for what we got. The location was inconvenient, and the overall condition was poor. The ceiling was damaged, and we had to sleep with the lights on all night. There was no in-room washer. Definitely not worth the price—this felt like a 2-star hotel at best.
