Shilla Stay Busan Haeundae

Location - very good and close to beach front. Room - cleaned well. Staff - generally helpful. The trainees are sometimes more helpful than the experienced onces. Breakfast is good but ends too early at 930am. Initial bookings / specific request - not very good and you could be ignored. Laundry - they frequently breakdown. There are 2 washers and 2 dryers. 50% of them was broken.

The location is super good. It is easy to reach Haeundae beach. The staff are kind.

Good stay and good hotel at a good location. Breakfast was expensive and waiter literally ask me to leave after 10 am although I have all my things collected and set in front of me. Kinda rude or rigid Koreans.

Is a family trip

Run down property, elevators not all operational, okay…but not for the price paid. Bottom line it is an overpriced hotel for the quality provided

The staff seems more concerned about procedure than rules than using common sense to deliver a good customer experience. Very cold in their demeanor. Oceanview rooms face a batting cage. If you plan to sleep early, note that you will pinging of aluminum bats and laughter until 11 pm or so. A/C doesn't get really cold. Not uncomfortably warm, but if you prefer a really cold room, look elsewhere. Beds are comfortable, rooms were clean. Toilet has bidet features. Shower has a permanent half-width glass screen over the tub. Requires an effort to keep the water from spraying outside.

Paid extra to have a beach view room only to be rudely awakened by the baseball batting cage that is next door. We were woken up every night and one day they started at 4 am. I personally didn't find the reception staff very friendly compared to other hotels but it might have simply been the particular person that checked us in. This hotel seems to be really busy with large groups from other countries so I can be empathetic when dealing with the public. I was really disappointed in the state of the hotel, the finishes are old and worn out. I never understood the fascination with having a window from the toilet/shower to the bedroom, such a dumb design. Our tub was caving in the closer one stood to the shower head. For the money, you can stay at hotels nearby that are much nicer. The location is great and the breakfast buffet had decent food. Avoid the beach view and pick the City view and you should be okay.

Hotel located right by the haeundae beach. Hotel room was fairly spacious and clean. Few things like the desk and bits in bathroom May need upgrading but other than that the hotel was lovely. The area is great walkable distance to the maket aswell

It was nice to be able to relax comfortably in a very quiet and clean room and bathroom.

Convenient location for beach and restaurants. Our room had an unpleasant odor whenever the air was off which is whenever we left for our day to sightsee and took our room key out of the slot for the power. The front desk was not very welcoming. They answered our questions when asked but didn’t smile nor did anything to go out of their way. They did their job but made us feel like we were bothering. Different attitude than we get in Myeongdong where the staff greets you with a smile and tries to accommodate us more.

The hotel is conveniently located, allowing easy access to both the beach and the main shopping street. The rooms are comfortable and pleasant as well. However, the overall experience can vary, as it depends on the staff you encounter. While there are some receptionists who are very friendly and provide excellent hospitality, there are also a few who are impolite and aloof. Despite this inconsistency, I generally enjoy my stays at this hotel. And well, just relax when you are on holiday!
