Our stay at this hanok was amazing. The traditional house was spotless and beautifully maintained, offering a peaceful and cozy atmosphere. The owner was friendly and made us feel very welcome throughout our visit. We would definitely love to come back!

Near-flawless luxury hanok stay in central Gyeongju, close to all the amenities and sights of the town centre. Gorgeous views over hanok rooftops to the Daereungwon tomb complex. Su provided a friendly personal greeting on arrival in good English. She also offered a delicious complimentary Korean bento box for breakfast. We appreciated the small touches, like top-range Korean brand Terarosa coffee and Osulloc tea. The property was clean, beds were comfortable and the bathroom and shower spacious and modern. More than enough towels provided, including large Western-style bath towels. The only drawback was the water was never hot enough for a good shower. Good wifi and a massive smart TV, although the room layout meant you couldn’t watch it easily from the sofa. My parents visiting from Sydney had a great time, and I plan to come back next year from Seoul with my wife and daughter.

The space was beautifully designed after a traditional hanok. It had everything we needed and was very tranquil, perfect after a long day of exploring. The hospitality was impeccable, the host was very generous with her offerings. Really recommend if youre staying in Gyeongju.

I highly recommend Soo Hanok Stay.The accommodation is cozy and comfortable and a flat walk to historic sites.The complementary Korean breakfast was delicious with lots of side dishes to try.The owner is very obliging- I particularly wanted to visit an out of the way tomb and she organised it perfectly for me.

Beautiful area and beautiful accommodation. Clean and well appointed with everything you need for a relaxing stay. We were treated to a complimentary Korean breakfast by our lovely host. Centrally located in the middle of the town, surrounded by restaurants and cafes. Heated flooring, manicured outdoor landscapes.

Enjoyed our stay very much! Host was very accommodating; helped look out for available parking near accommodation on first day. The space was lovely and cosy at same time! Enjoyed our stay thoroughly!

Amazing experience from arrival to departure, it just made our brief visit to Gyeongju one of our best so far. The host was very accommodating, the hanok was most beautiful, location was perfect. She even booked a cab for us and made sure we arrived on time for our train to Seoul. We're already planning our next trip to Gyeongju and definitely will stay here again.

Stay here! This was the most pleasant and memorable stay of our trip in South Korea. The owner was so thoughtful and accommodating. They even left us a bottle of champagne. The room was beautiful, spacious, and charming. The floors are heated, and they also provided a delicious Korean breakfast for us. Another perk was there were cute kittens playing in the bamboo that the owner takes care of. The location is perfect and central. We are so glad we booked this hotel.

If you choose to stay at Soi Hanok Stay you won't be disappointed. The room is beautiful, spacious, clean and the location is perfect, walking distance to everything you need. Our host was so thoughtful: communication was great, check in was easy, she made us a delicious traditional Korean breakfast and gave us great recommendations for dinner. A truly beautiful hanok that blends tradition with modern comfort. The space feels serene and calm. Room was very clean too.Walking distance to all the famous tourist attractions. The owner was very nice, provided complimentary breakfast on the 1st and last day of our stay.

I’ve never stayed somewhere so beautiful. A perfect and peaceful few days despite the busy APEC festivities! We were just travelling through and were so delighted by everything about our stay - it’s idyllic setting, the adorable kittens, the spacious rooms. Thank you so much for having us!
