Such a great location, staff was very nice and helpful. When I needed a conversion plug she had one for me to use. There’s an area on one of the floors if you want to sit down and eat and get water. Other stays went for more than double the price and didn’t offer more than just a bed. Definitely will be back!

Although the hotel is little bit hidden inside Myeongdong but the place is super strategic. You can find lots of delicious food just near the hotel. Myeongdong Kyoja is just in front of the alley. There is Isaac Toast just at the right alley. Not to mention Haha’s restaurant 401BBQ. Yoogane is also in front of the alley. Not to mention the cosmetic shops which surround the area. I have a nice stay in this hotel. Definitely going back to this hotel when I’m back to Seoul.

Location is good, but lift was out due to construction, add the noise from construction and walking up 2 flights of stairs each time is not the best.

The electric sockets were almost non existent and near the ceiling! Old school key locks that I don’t think is safe anyone can copy keys! And the bank beds were very tiny I felt I was in a kids room! But apart from that it was right in the center and it was close enough to walk to the main sites!

The hotel is very basic but it is also very cheap - you get what you pay for. The street immediately outside the hotel looks very untidy and there's also a lot of building work going on but if you walk for just a minute or two you're into the amazing Myeongdong shopping area with loads of restaurants and food stalls at night. It's a short walk to the Myeongdong metro station. The rooms are very small which is OK but some minor changes would make it better. The only towels provided are tiny hand towels which are useless for having a shower. There's no chair in the room, just a stool. The toilet and basin are in the shower cubicle so if you have a shower everything gets wet - you need to move everything out before you can shower. There's a router and TV set top box on the small table - if they could be mounted on the wall or under the table it wouldn't look so cluttered. I like a firm bed but this one was far too hard - perhaps put on a mattress topper to make it a bit more comfortable. A power socket by the bed and a small table would be nice.

Obviously, the location is the best part about this stay. You're just a very short walk down a single alley away from the Myeongdong shopping streets, which itself is the center of Seoul. Two subway stations and other bus stations are also within short walking distance. I love the small shared kitchen on each floor, with dishes and utensils you can use and wash afterwards, as well as stove, microwave, and even community refrigerator. The washer and dryer appear to be free to use (no coins needed)! There is also a free water dispenser with both cold and hot water. During our stay, there was a group of 3 women who monopolized the kitchen, and that was frustrating. The room was tiny. The bed had a huge dip on one side. The bathroom is toilet, shower, and sink, all in one small combined space, so the toilet will get drenched when you take a shower. Toilet paper and towel bar are attached to the back wall where shower water comes out, so those do stay dry. Mini fridge is in the room, and does work. Room also has its own wi-fi, so you don't share with other residents. Room advertises pocket wi-fi available for rent at low prices, but the hotel staff says that hasn't been available since COVID. You do have to take your shoes off when you get off the elevator for your floor. There is a shoe locker for your room number, where you trade your shoes for provided slippers. There is another pair of slippers that you use only for the cramped bathroom. Low price made the stay okay.

Initially I thought the location was kind of scary for women who were travelling alone but that’s not the case. It’s in the back of the busy street there were no noise at all at night. I felt very safe in the area. The staff were amazing, for the price, they do so much more than the pricey places. Each floor had their own kitchen and laundry (no dryer, I hanged my laundry in my room 😂), I had a lovely view of Namsan Tower from our kitchen. Will come back again

The place was a bit hard to find but the location is really good as it is in the middle of the shops and restaurants in Myeongdong. The place was clean though small, it is good for 2 people only. The staffs were really accomodating and generous. They let us borrow their adaptors for free and let us stay in the pantry after check-out. This place is really good especially with its budget friendly price.

Wasn’t too happy about my stay here. Only good thing was the location. First I check in which is on the second floor. Received a code which is the same for floors 3-5. Once you get to your floor by elevator or stairs, there’s cupboards where they ask you to put your shoes in but they do not lock. There is a electronic lock system attached to the door where you enter the code provided. My floor wasn’t locked during my 2 days I was there for some strange reason. I went downstairs to ask if there’s a phone I can use as I didn’t want to get charged long distance. One receptionist was a little helpful but didn’t give me a phone to use. Instead she typed the number on my phone. Pretty sure I got charged long distance. I came back down to ask another question but she had left for home and so I had another employee at the desk. I asked if he spoke english and he replied “No, I’m Korean” and giggled and continued doing whatever he was doing on his computer. I didn’t feel like he wanted to even try to help. Overall, I would not recommend this place. You definitely get what you pay for.

The beds are too small and very hard and discomforting. The rooms are shoe boxes. You cannot move around. The bathrooms are so small that the shower wets the entire toilet. Breakfast is bare minimal. Only cereal. Biggest issue was quality of bed mattress. It gave us pain to sleep on those. Not enough electrical outlets. You cannot charge you phones etc. Towels were 1 feet by 1 feet. More like hand size towel.
