Excellent location

Nice clean property with amazing cleaners. Only issue is the check-in policy is a nightmare (we were waiting about ages and I had to walk to the head office because they didn't send me the code). I wasn't a fan of checkout being so early but other than that it done the job.

I was under the impression that this was a hotel but it's not. No reception desk. The information on how to access the front door and room door are sent via email the day of arrival, around noon. If the guest does not have cell service outside of the USA, that's impossible to receive the information to get in your room. That was my case. A huge inconvenience that is not informed when I reserved the place. I find that it's a must to have this disclosure in order for your guests to make a well informed decision.

WE stayed at the property for one night before returning home. We found the signing in process unique but efficient. The enjoyed staying here.

The room is in a converted apartment. The floors are beyond wonky, the rooms are on the second floor with a steep staircase from hell. Due to the nature of the conversion, the walls are paper thin and you hear everything. The hallway has no fresh air supply and stinks stale. Positives: clean room, fresh and modern interior.

Good customers service, access to a kitchen giving a choice to make your own meals.

Clean room and helpful staff

This is a cute 5 room hostel in the old town. Great if you arrive by taxi or train. A long walk if you arrive with a car. Lots of steps. Great shared kitchen area.

The staff and managers were extremely helpful. Great location. Lots of dining options, sights, shopping nearby. It is a walking only area (no vehicles) and a long staircase to climb so not the best if you have trouble getting around by foot. Otherwise a very nice place and highly recommended.

This pension is in a walking only area - a 10 minute walk from the nearest parking lot. then you have to haul your luggage up a long flight of stairs. 10 minutes after booking, I realized it was inaccessible by car and tried to cancel the booking but they did not allow it. The check-in system is complicated and in the end they sent us the code, but it didn’t work until I phoned, and she activated it. I inquired about parking, but they sent the information too late. With €18 for parking this was a very expensive room with paper thin walls. I could hear everything in the next room and that was not pleasant at four in the morning. They advertised kitchen facilities, but really it was a closet off the hallway, which had a small microwave and refrigerator. No sink. I do not recommend this place.

The room was nice and confortable, but the street was busy with a lot of people in bars and drinking on the street. There is no front desk, I had ti access with a cose they provide

Extremely complicated to check in, apparently needs to be done 72h in advance online, unclear where the links are, communicating mainly in spanish. No indication of it but the bathroom was shared!! Very crazy.

The hotel doesn't have a reception. They text you an access code. The room was clean and large enough, you have many stairs to get to the rooms. I would recommend this hotel, it is good value but nothing luxurious

Good location and nice stay. People at front desk were very friendly and helpful. Walls seem to be thin. You could here the neighbors.

The location is great right in the Casco Viejo area. The room was fine. It was clean, had a nice shower. Someone changed the towels and made the bed the next day which was nice. I thought this was a hotel but it was a "pension" so hotel minus the hotel building and reception but there is an office nearby and they are responsive.

The room was immaculate, having a private bathroom, outside of the room itself is different, but no big deal, and it was really clean as well. The only advice I would give is to let people know you are booking into a bar/pub district, and be a little clearer on the text message. Apart from that really nice place, that I would stay again.

Our stay here was fabulous. Yes, there are stairs you have to tow up your luggage and there is no air conditioning so be mindful of those details. This is also located in the middle of Casco Viejo which can be noisy but we didn’t mind it at all bc that’s where we wanted to be. The staff is super attentive and helpful and the place is very clean and well maintained. We got room serviced and clean linens when we needed. Recommend it !

Location is great, although the property is in a busy restaurants area and you can hear the noise in our room, but its a lively area and we did not mind. Room is small but comfortable. Anna the reveptionist is very friendly and helpful. People in Bilbao are very nice and friendly.

It’s a very clean and newly redone pension right in the middle of the old quarter, so you’re surrounded by beautiful old buildings, bars and pinxto spots. Also you can walk to downtown Bilbao very easily - about 15-20 to Alhondiga cultural center or 25 mins to Guggenheim. Rooms are simple, modern and comfortable. No frills or breakfast but there’s a small kitchen with a kettle and coffee maker and small fridge. WiFi is very fast, the best of the 4-5 hotels I’ve stayed at in Bilbao. The only downside is that there isn’t someone working there late at night and in the afternoon, so make sure you let them know when you’re coming. Otherwise it’s a great affordable option in Bilbao!
