This is a charming hotel on the edge of the town of Toro. We found parking right outside the hotel very easily when we arrived at the check-in time. Absolutely stunning views of the whole area from our bedroom and the restaurants within the hotel The hotel receptionist spoke fairly good English and was really kind and suggesting places we could go and try the local wine. The place is just turned out to me Ideal as we managed to join another group who are having a tour which is something we have been unable to book before we arrived, so we were very pleased. We ate in the hotel in their café because it was raining. It was all inside but if it was warm, you could sit outside and have a lovely view. The restaurant staffs English was a bit patchy and our Spanish is even worse but with the use of Google Translate we managed to order a meal we ended up having the biggest steak I’ve ever seen in my life a bottle of wine a salad and potato croquettes as part of a package deal for two people which came to about €52, which was really good value in our opinion The room was basic but very Spanish decent size bed ideal to crash for a night and in my opinion very good value. If I was coming through here again, I would return . I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place for someone else to stay.

Amazing location with fantastic view of the river Duero. Easy to walk to sights , cafés etc. Disappointing that they were not doing any meals except breakfast, no bar or cafe was open whilst we were there. Great shame as they overlooked the lovely view. Were not told this beforehand .

Hotel, no wi fi in room, what you get drops out consistently, no free parking in front of hotel as all spaces are taken up by restaurant people and hotel staff. Receptionist could not care less. Eventually got a car park space at about 8.00 pm at night but had to stand at back of car for two hours to make sure restaurant people did not back into rental car. It took one person 25 minutes to back out 20 metres and that was with the help of two other people. Bit fed up with hotels saying that they provide certain things which are the reason for our bookings and do not honour what they list. Needs to be a quicker way of updating or clearly spelling out what they actually provide.

Lovely hotel, off the beaten track. The key to making this work is to ask for "un habitacion superior" (high end room) for a very-worth-it additional 10 euros. This will get you a little balcony with a fabulous view over the plain. Get there early with a bottle of the equally excellent Toro wine (available from the bodega opposite the hotel) and enjoy the evening. Tip-1: avoid the restaurant below the hotel and walk into the town centre (5 mins) for something better. Tip-2: Allow time to visit the church and its bell tower (not for the faint-hearted @ 138 steps!)
