This property is on the way into Santiago on the Camino and it’s very nice to be able to drop your backpack off before you finish your Camino at the cathedral

Estuvo bien, la verdad nos asustamos porque leímos malas experiencias, pero en nuestro caso, salió todo bien, desde la llegada hasta la salida. Nos asustamos con el grupo de refugiados por su presencia, pero no tuvimos ningún problema con ellos. Igualmente, leímos comentarios sobre la suciedad, pero en nuestro caso, todo estaba correcto. Las camas eran cómodas, las sábanas limpias, nuestra experiencia fue agradable.

Hostel without any frills. No tv no towels no WiFi. Very safe though and breakfast buffet was very good. Bus stop on main road very close to hostel. Good price if you don’t mind roughing it.

We stayed 5 nights. It's a budget hostel with minimal service. No change of sheets or replacement of bath towels. The actual site of the hostel is large with great space to chill or walk around. We did enjoy the cafeteria, the lady during the evening shift was extremely kind and accommodating, she had gone above and beyond her duties, thank you. Overall, we enjoyed Santiago.

I found it too big for me. Too far to go, although the bus was easy to access the next morning and didn’t take long to get to the city. And I was in a room with 1 man initially, which was daunting enough and then 6 more turned up at 1.30 am in the morning. Nice enough staff, would probably have been a better experience if I wasn’t on my own.

The room was clean and modern. The bed was comfortable. Hot shower. Helpful staff. The restaurant didn't start serving dinner until 8 pm. It was cafeteria style with very few options, but it was more convenient than going somewhere else because there isn't much nearby. The pharmacy vending machine was empty, but there were a couple others with snacks. The hostel is along the Camino Frances only 4 kilometers from the Santiago cathedral.

This is an 'albergue', not to be confused with a hotel. They provide a good night rest so you can continue with your trip (or pilgrimage). The only problem I had was that the floor was dirty.

It was better than expected. This is the first time I stay at this type of accommodations, the room was nice and clean with its own bathroom. The continental breakfast was good too for extra 7€. The bed was bit hard for me, but my sister loves it.

My first room 021 had a serious mold problem in the bathroom. As soon as I opened the bathroom door, I was hit with the smell. My room was changed. The second room 029 also had mold in the shower and mold coming from the wall, on the other side of the bathroom. I paid $70.00 for this room. This is unacceptable for Expedia, to list this property, at this price point, given the health risks from mold.

Hostal en Monte do Gozo a 3.8 km del centro de Santiago de Compostela. Ideal para peregrinos sin grandes pretensiones y a muy buen precio. Desayuno incluido por costo adicional. Con lluvia es difícil el acceso, pero puedes solicitar taxi si tienes dinero para gastar o tomar un autobús hasta el centro por 1.5 EUR en el momento actual de esta reseña.

El check-in fue penoso, casi una hora esperando de pie en el exterior a ser atendidos. Deberían tener mas personal, ya que es un alojamiento muy demandado, con cientos de huéspedes (solamente habia dos personas, bastante eficientes, pero no daban abasto) La habitación normal, limpia pero sin lujos de ningún tipo, ya que se trata de un albergue. El dia que fuimos había fiesta y bastante ruido (debe ser habitual ya que hay multitud de peregrinos que terminan el Camino y están de celebración). El aislamiento de las habitaciones brilla por su ausencia.
