Hotel Eguren Ugarte

Frontdesk- Horrible Customer Service I booked Hotel Eguren Ugarte expecting a relaxing experience, but it turned into a stressful stay. I was given a smoking room, despite having asthma and clearly explaining my condition to the staff. They did not offer any resolution. Only when my husband noticed other available rooms did they say we could switch—but only if we paid extra. In the end, we had no choice but to pay for an upgrade just so I could stay without risking an emergency room visit. The front desk personnel were unhelpful and dismissive, and the manager was unavailable to speak with us for the entire 24 hours of our stay. For a property of this level, this level of customer service is beyond unacceptable. The vineyard and the property itself are beautiful, and their Grande Reserve wine (not the regular Reserve) is nice. But customer service at the hotel is beyond bad. I would NOT recommend staying here.

The hotel is set in beautiful grounds with all rooms and the restaurant overlooking them. It is a stunning place to spend a couple of days to unwind whilst sipping a glass of wine.

The staff alwas amazing and very patient with me not speaking spanish. The chef fornthe hotel produced some of the most amazing dishes ive ever had in a hotel.

Desde la cálida bienvenida en su recepción, a la increíble sorpresa de descender a la habitación la cual te impresiona al ver su bodega y de la ventana a sus viñedos. Sus dos restaurantes son fabuloso, el tour y degustación de vinos es espectacular. Sin dudas es un lugar donde quieres volver y seguir disfrutando

This hotel was amazing. The views are absolutely stunning, the room was clean and comfortable, and the food was great. Would definitely stay there again.

This winery hotel is modern with reasonable room sizes. All rooms look out onto the vineyards and Ebro Valley below. Fabulous views on to nearby Laguardia. Good evening dinner menu option available but booking is essential.

The view from the rooms over the grounds was amazing. The staff was kind and helpful and the food (and the wine) was great.

Very good and beautiful area. We did have a slight sickness after dinner, but it was quite nice overall. The wine was terrific and reasonably priced.

Our second time staying, returning after 9 years and this time with parents and our 1 year old. Still a wonderful hotel, service is very friendly and helpful, the location is incredible as are the views. Breakfast was lovely and a very good selection, evening meals were also very good and wines to match. Only slight issue was the air conditioning in the rooms was not very effective. Overall highly recommended and would be very happy to return again in the future.

A lovely winery with freindly staff set in incredible countryside of Rioja. The room was large and clean and had a wonderful view, and the grounds were excellent to walk around. Far above its one star status, having a drink on the terrace outside as the sun sets is incredible.

The best place to live the real RIOJA experience! Spectacular views, great value for money (it includes a great breakfast, minibar in the room & winery tour with tasting)! You just can’t ask for anything else! We have been in the area many times as we work in the wine industry and have never seen anything like thi!! TOP TOP TOP!

The only two things I didn’t like was that the refrigerator in the room was hot and the safe did not open. We asked for these two items to be fixed but they were never fixed and the items in the refrigerator were hot. They offered items at the reception desk but we thought it was inconvenient.

We loved our stay here in the heart of the vineyards. Room was clean and comfortable. The tour was terrific.

Absolutely marvelous in every way. The Hotel and it's staff very nice. The grounds and vineyard amazing and the wine tour was good. Only two minimal things I would have liked different, they have two restaurants but both have a closed very limited menu and secondly the "bar/cocktail/hangout" area was lacking. These two minor flaws in no way detract from the charm and loveliness of this hotel. I would definately go back in a heartbeat.

The place is located in a beautiful location with amazing scenery. Inside, it was very modern and comfortable. The staff was friendly and the visit to the caves and tasting was an outstanding experience.
