The location may offer scenic views of the bay, but the experience at Hotel Mirador del Estrecho leaves much to be desired — especially when it comes to comfort and service: - 🛎️ Weak reception: Barely any interaction at check-in, and our request for a quiet room was ignored — we were given one right next to the hotel’s compressors, which buzzed loudly all night. - 🪟 Room issues: The shutter wouldn’t close properly, and it took some acrobatics to get it halfway down. The room had a strong, unpleasant smell upon entry. - 🧼 Clean but not spotless: Housekeeping was acceptable, though not meticulous. The furniture was dated, and the TV was tiny — not ideal for relaxing indoors. - 💤 Poor sleep quality: Between the noise and the lack of blackout, getting a good night’s rest was a challenge. - 🚶‍♂️ Overall vibe: The hotel feels neglected, and while the views might be nice, the interior and service don’t match the setting. If you're just passing through and need a place to crash, it might do the job. But for anything more than a quick overnight, it’s hard to recommend.

I booked Hotel Mirador for one night, but due to problems with my car stayed for three. I really enjoyed my time there and was made most welcome by the friendly staff. They all spoke pretty good English and were very helpful with telephone calls and booking taxes to sort my car out. I had lunch there which was home-cooked and very reasonable value. It is quite a popular restaurant and I’m not surprised. I hope to stay there on my return journey in a few weeks.

Called the hotel to check if they had an available room and the person in the reception got angry because he could not speek English. What a great impression.

nice clean room + bathroom, with working table and nice view. the restaurant is tasty and offers a menu with a very fair price of 12€ for main dish, appetizer, dessert and a few drinks. most of the staff speaks acceptable English and the wifi works fine. this is basically all you can ask for. edit I am removing one star because : wifi is not completely reliable, our double bed is two single beds, there are only minor things happen that bother me, but they do bother me
