We enjoyed our short stay. It feels “Spanish residential” which we liked, albeit decor is dated.
Checkin was very friendly. Location is good to walk to Sevilla sites including the Alcazar and cathedral (10 mins) Bed was pretty firm but comfortable. We had a small kitchenette which we used, and equipped with an aircon.
We also liked the common roof terrace for a drink or meal overlooking the neighbouring church
The only annoyance was the noisy entry gate that leads in to the property, and the noise of other guests walking past our room which was close to the entry.
Would stay again, due to location and value.

The desk manager Angel was friendly, helpful, and fluent in English. Trying to navigate the complicated traffic of downtown Seville was a challenge, but at least the Monterena offered private parking nearby. The rooms themselves are within walking distance of the cathedral, the royal alcazar, and other key sights.

Shower room has mold. The hair dryer is not working -only able to blow for about 30 seconds then stop.
Also needs key to go out and in. If any chance of fire, without a key, cannot get out so have a safety concern.

Hostel was in a great location - everything I needed was in walking distance between the train station, restaurants, and sights. Bed was comfortable and rooftop patio was great, good wifi. The only downside is because it's in the center of town, the building was extremely loud. Nothing the the hosts can really do but people coming and going at all hours of the night and you can hear every conversation or step.

This is your choice if you are after a budget stay. The staff who works at the reception speaks perfect English which makes checking in and out and making enquiries a lot easier. The hostel is also very close to the main tourist attractions.

Basic single room accommodation with shared bathroom. It's a good area, narrow street but easy to find good eating places and some of the major attractions. Staff were extremely helpful with any requests. I would definitely stay there again

If you are bring a car, do not stay here. They said they have some parking space but actualy it is not.
Also the room was so cold so we had to wear our jacket inside the room.

Parking was terrible. There is nowhere to park, even for a short time in front of the pensione to offload luggage. I had reserved the day before, and nobody got back to me about parking until 14.00 the day of check-in. I had to park very far from the pensione. The couch, which they claim sleeps two, has support pieces under the padding which fall off (too short). Nobody in the office speaks English or makes the slightest effort to understand English.

A good value ,well located hostel near enough to train station and Santa Cruz area.Room was perfectly clean and comfortable with air con unit. Shared bathroom was also fine and just across the corridor. Close to restaurants and bars along with tourist sites.

The pension is in the very centre of the town from a walkable distance from every important sites. It has a nice authentic Andalusian atmosphere. It has its own garage if you arrive by car, but secure place in advance.
