Surf Mar Hotel

Room was clean, but feels like a hospital. The hotel is run down and the buffet options are not great.

I really recommend the Surf Mar hotel :) We had amazing family holidays .amazing hotel especially room.Food was great and delicious .Pool really good .Good entertainment beside pool .Very good location .Highly recommend the hotel .Staff very nice .

This is a youth hostel by the sea. 100's of kids all over the place. Dirty rooms. Broken doors and fittings. Old Beds. Noisy hallways and neighbours. Just awful.

This is not a 4 star hotel. The hotel is shabby and run down. The property is in disrepair. The room was dirty and unkept.

Me and my friend needed somewhere short notice and more a place to rest our heads rather than the hotel actually be a main part to our trip. Id read mixed reviews but price and the included breakfast swung it. I'd definitely be questioning if it is a 4 star and if I was picking somewhere for me and a girlfriend/ wife I would look elsewhere. Floor was unclean, room very dated and any noise from above or below seemed to be amplified through the room. You couldn't move for school parties either however that was probably due to time of year. It just meant we left the hotel resort each day to drink / sunbath elsewhere. Like I say for what I needed it was fine and the lady on the desk gave us some great suggestions for tapas and fish restaurants

The stay was good overall. We enjoyed the pool and activities inside the hotel such as the mini golf, gaming area, poolside games. The proximity to the beach was good. What could improve was setting breakfast times to avoid the queues in the morning, we were asked to eat at the bar but the bar sent us back as they were full. I would suggest making sure the availability in the bar is better when sending guests to the bar and that there is sufficient food setup. The air-conditioning in the room takes a long time to cool the room but was sufficient if started during the day for a comfortable evening sleep.

the overall is quite good and worth the money, the only thing to improve is the wine served in the restaurant I think.

Pretty nice, wonderful place to spend your holiday with your family. Buffet is good with a lot of options to choose from. One downside - water (even tap water) is not included in your meals price. Rooms and balconies are clean, spacious with a beautiful sea view.

Good location next to the beach. Not much in the way of nightlife but only 10 min walk into lloret de mar centre. Good food and good choices on buffets. Good value for money. Staff very friendly. Room was a little dated but after speaking to people in the area apparently they are doing rooms up

Excellent location, plenty of food and drinks at dinner place. Balcony on all rooms but No refrigerator on rooms.

Amazing time 5 day break for 2 girls for a 30 th birthday lovely hotel good room with sea and pool view on 4 th floor good condition v clean close to amneties but not in town centre quiet costal bay.check in so quick and friendly very helpful reception staff will defiantly stay again

Good for kids but very basic. Extra charges for internet (extra per device). Desk staff helpful. This is close to beach.

I was terribly disapointed. The rooms were awful, not fit for a family. Airconditioning didn't function properly, room had a horrible odour, marks on the wall and dusty floors. Bathroom was also not particularly nice, with small hard towels. Probably good for teenagers, but not fit for family's.

Locations is very good, personnel is friendly, all is good except of too old towels and long queues to coffee machines in the restaurant.

Good hotel for category and price (think US'70s/Europe'80s construction and decor, and you won't be disapointed). Super nice and friendly staff and maids! Across the street from nice beach, and close to even nicer ones. Enjoyable terrace for all rooms, most with angled view of the sea. Central AC works, but don't expect super cold...but comfortable. If you have breakfast included, expect to see 200-300 other people there (many tables do have view to the sea)...efficient buffet style, and cayegory of food to match (OK mass produced food).

Just there for one night. Had a lovely room with a balcony with a side view of the sea. Great!

I had been working in Girona nearby and extended by stay to have a long weekend on the Costa Brava. This choice of hotel and Lloret de Mar was therefore relatively random. I had a really nice stay. The hotel is relatively simple with a small bar and a smaller indoor kids play area. The dining room does buffet breakfasts and dinner (I went half board) which were of a fairly basic but acceptable quality. Similarly the room was clean but basic (an old CRT TV, for example, simple bed). However for me this was more than compensated by having a lovely pool area. There's a handy bar, the pools were kept really clean, with a nice garden area around with plenty of loungers. The main pool was long enough and deep enough for some serious swimming as well as splashing around. The hotel is located across the road from the quieter beach in Lloret, Fenals Beach. It's less commercial but beautiful and a good place to relax, with enough little restaurants and cafes to keep refreshed! The main town is about 15mins walk, around the headland or over the hill. Oddly, when I was there the hotel seemed to be filled mostly with Russians (might have been Polish) and then French.

The surf mar hotel at lloret de mar was a great hotel. we had a front row view of the beach,fantastic

Incredible Service, excellent location in Lloret, but to get to Lloret it is a bit complicated if you are traveling late night or early in the morning from Girona Airport. All people were very nice.
