This hotel has spacious rooms and lovely windows to look over the city. What was absolutely outstanding was the customer service and genuine care from staff. We needed to extend our stay on our day of check out after being hospitalised in kandy. The staff organised everything and even waited until we were discharged from hospital at 1230AM to hand deliver us our room key and make sure we got in safe.

So overall this hotel was an excellent option. My room had a great view, especially at night with the city lights against the mountainsides. The lock on the door, although it did lock, was a bit difficult and frustrating. However, Kandy City stay does get high marks for staff and their local tours. The hotel’s (mainly elephant park) was excellent and very economical.

The service provided by the staff of Kandy City is excellent, the hotel itself is a little dated and the picture isn’t actually the hotel. But for a budget option my partner and I were happy. Breakfast was super filling and generous. The hotel is an awkward spot but a close enough walk to the lake and shopping areas.

Superbly located with beautiful views of Kandy City. The breakfast was tasty and provided a nice touch. Staff were hospitable and accommodating generally. Room was mountain view and was spacious. However, there were some mild stains on the sheet. Overall though, it was a nice stay.

The staff were so helpful. I had booked a room that was tooo big and too many beds for just one person (solo traveler) and instead they helped find me a room with a better view and more accustomed to my needs. Also having a restaurant with fantastic food on the roof is so convenient if you are tired and don’t want to meander into the city center. Great stay!

This is a fairly good hotel near to Kandy city. It costs an affordable amount. This is suitable to stay for a short duration. Hotel staff is also nice. Although there were some lacking parts in room facilities, this small hotel is not bad for a short stay.

one of the best hotels we stayed in sri lanka. Rooms are superb clean and big , friendly staff, 360 degree rooftop restaurant .Though this property is situated inside the hotel the rooms are quiet .what else do you need from a hotel.

Really big and comfortable room. Nice furnishings. Great shower. Easy walk downhill to bus station and train station. easy with backpacks, maybe not roller luggage. Very friendly staff. Quick laundry service as well fora fair price. Convenient place to stay for a night if you're just passing through Kandy.
