In general, our stay would have been fair, if the manager would had had an honest attitude : breakfast included for 4, we were charged 20 dollars at checkout as we would have agreed before for an extra breakfast (meaning with extra meals and so on).
Owner/manger firys trued to convince us that breakfast was not included, then used this extra "agreed" in order to ask us the amount.
We did want to argue and paid, he then said than with Hotel.com and moreover middle companies having commissions, it does not worth for him.
12 days in S. Lanka, all bookings with other sites without problem. And in Tangalle, our guide told us this happen regularly.
Plenty other places to stay.
Finally, customer service not more helpful, keeping only owner version, not yours.
