Crystal Plaza Hotel

Old fashioned and utterly basic but helpful and nice reception staff.

Great experience!

Staff super friendly, seamless check in/ out, lication great, only 1/2 hr walk to Skansen area/museums & even less to old town (local transport options excellent too, we just chose to walk). Room clean, reasonable size, had everything you'd expect, hairdryer tripped electrics but it was resolved before we'd returned from breakfast. Speaking of which, that was also excellent, food was topped up constantly & there was a large variety from numerous breads, cheeses, meats, veggies, hot buffet, waffles (some days) fruit, cereal, yogurts Very happy with our stay

Breakfast amazing, staff friendly, spotlessly clean, ideal location. All in all 20/10. Perfect 👍

Shops and transport near by, room came with mini fridge which was great in the summer.

Staff were friendly and polite. Slight issue with there being only one lift to serve 7 floors. I noticed that it was the preferred hotel for Air China. Airlines want their staff to have a clean, quite comfortable stay between flights. I really was happy that the bookshop Ronnells Antique books was opposite - as they were a venue for the Stockholm Jazz festival. the No. 2 local bus takes you to most of the tourist sites - very useful.

I was very pleased with my stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, the free breakfast was very nice and the location was walkable to the royal palace and the waterfront. I would stay there again.

Room was just ok. Very small shower that you can just about turn in. No plug in sink. Poorly lit room. Was clean and a good location. Staff helpful in reception.

No air conditioning. Noisy traffic outside room. Were given the wrong room and it couldn't be changed. Afternoon/evening receptionist was not very nice.

The use of the adjacent Chinese restaurant room for breakfast provided plenty of space and the buffet was well laid out and kept replenished by the staff. Our bedroom was clean and kept nice for us. We had tea and coffee available in the room which was quiet and relaxing. Reception staff were very helpful and courteous. We would recommend this hotel as we enjoyed our stay.

Such a beautiful spot located near a lot of tourist/sightseeing areas within walking distance (though I like to walk a lot and far so I may be biased.) Lots of shops and dining areas super close by (definitely walking distance!) and tons of pretty buildings to look at along the way. The building itself is beautiful. Nice wooden doors, tile entryway, and carpeted hallways to ensure no one wakes up to wheels rattling down the hallway or footsteps clacking against the floor. My room was a standard single room. Though small, I found it the perfect size for just myself. There was a small closet, a little side table and chair, as well as a kettle with coffee, tea, milk, and sugar. I found the bed to be a good size for me and quite comfortable. The pillow was my favourite! Nice and fluffy! The bathroom is quite small. I'm 5"1 but still banged my elbows off of things (though that's not saying much as I am accident prone hehe). Still, it was very nice and clean. I was given plenty enough toilet paper for my stay and had the option of going green and opting out of having my room cleaned everyday which I loved! Breakfast at Ming's was great! Lots of options (more so the earlier you go) and lots of seating. The staff at the hotel are hands down the kindest and most helpful people. They always greeted me coming and going and answered any questions I had. They also humoured my poor Swedish the odd time I was brave enough to use it haha! Overall, a great stay! Highly recommend :)

Just a 15 minute walk from Stockholm central station. A beautiful hotel on the edge of the park. From the moment the extra friendly staff checked me in early, disrcibed every thing. A single person room big enough to be a double.Very clean with all amenities. Just 1.5 miles from all the museums but all busses are around Fantastic breakfast with all culinary choices available I rate the crystal Plaza higher than the scores given
