Hotell Åre Fjällsätra

Very friend and helpsome staff. Cosely atmosphere. Excellent breakfast. We stayed one night. 2 adults and 5 teens. We had a really nice stay. In the evening we had a lovely dinner in the hotel restaurant. Later we went to the outdoor sauna. The breakfast was delicious.

Basic rooms but great breakfast and super friendly staff. Only missing a chromecast for the tv.

Välkomnande med god atmosfär. Fin entré och trädgård. Smakfull inredning i hall o matsal. Mycket skön säng, litet men helt ok badrum med härlig doft på tvål och schampo! Frukosten uppskattades stort, allt fräscht och mycket gott.

We’ve had a lovely weekend at Are Fjällgård! Gorgeous area with plenty opportunities to explore mountains, forest and swimming in lakes. What made our trip extra special were our fabulous chef Lionel and wonderful waitress Charlene. We had superb dining experiences with tasty cocktails made from local ingredients by Charlene and exquisite dishes made with creativity and flair as well as locally sourced ingredients by Lionel. If you’re looking for a weekend getaway and you treasure a superb dining experience in relaxed surroundings, this is the place to visit. Thank you for a fabulous weekend!

Ett bra boende med bra service, bra parkeringen. Kunden i fokus. Det var 2 gången vi bodde där. Så vi är nöjda.

Stayed in a lovely junior svit with lots of space and a wonderful double bed. The dinner was delicious, the breakfast as well. Homemade wonderful bread. Can also recommend the out door situated sauna. All personell very kindly.

Fantastiskt mysigt hotell med personal som anstränger sig utöver det vanliga. Starkt rekommenderas.

Pittoreskt och mysigt hotell, rummen bra men man kan utveckla mysfaktorn på badrummen. Tag egen service på frukost under lågsäsong, inte så bra frukost, juicen var vedervärdig gick ej att dricka och smakade väldigt mycket kylskåp, kaffet gjorde man själv i pressobryggare, blev inte bra.

Trevligt boende, bra parkeringsmöjlighet, hundvänligt (ett klart plus), rent och fräscht rum. En småsak som gnager lite är dock en liten detalj kring ägg till frukost. Jag tycker ett minimum är kokta ägg till frukost - och de hade de. Både löskokta och hårdkokta - bra so far! Men det som gnager lite var att äggen var kalla (?!). Tänkte dag ett att det kanske berodde på att de stått framme länge. Dag två gick jag hämta direkt då de ställde dem på bordet - kalla då också? (och det förbryllar lite - kanske finns dem som föredrar det kallt?). (med kallt menas rumstemperatur, inte kylskåpskallt). Som en som reser med hund har jag ett tips. Ett litet kuvert med ett tanden på rummet, en vattenskål eller något litet bruket betyda ganska mycket (min erfarenhet från vad andra som reser med hund brukar tipsa om för boenden).

Vi bodde tre nätter och fick avnjuta tre fantastiska frukostar, bra sömn i sköna sängar med bra täcken och kuddar. Rent rum i lite äldre stil men väldigt ombonat liksom hela Åre Fjällsätra. Bra bastu och en restaurang med tre rätters middag som var en härlig smakupplevelse med lokala leverantörer av råvaror. En vistelse som gav mersmak, vi kommer tillbaka.

we stayed in room 6.bathroom was awful. when you take shower, the water is all over the place n there is no way to drain it. cushions were smelly. it looks like that it was a farmhouse n then converted to hotel. hotel is full of old furniture.it looks like antique shop.i dont know, they did it deliberately or they dont have fund to replace it. but its look cozy and feels like home.but cleanness is something which is missing. we dont have much interaction with staff, but most of the time they were nice and pleasant. breakfast were ok. but the location was too good. they need to invest in hotel.

Very laid back and relaxed Inn, with a rather homely vibe. The town it is in is really quiet, and can take a lovely walk to the river, which is frozen in the winter. There are buses and trains to Are when you feel the need to shop or be in a bigger town, but the hotel is well located next to the stations.

Lovely hotel. Very popular with local Swedes. Love the feel of the hotel, nice and cosy. Everyone very friendly - helped us with local transport. Pretty close to the slopes in Åre. Stayed in "Torparen" room which was really clean and spacious (only negative is the light fitting was a bit low for my 6ft2 partner!) The food here was DELICIOUS. The breakfast was a fab spread, perfect for a day on the slopes. I personally LOVED that some nights were buffet style (as I like being able to try a little bit of everything), with big pots of lots of different traditional Swedish food. It was also a bargain for what is was! So definitely recommend eating here every day as we didn't have a bad meal! (It was also busy at lunch with locals - always a good sign!) One thing which we found a little peculiar was we stayed for 3 nights and no-one serviced our room...? I'm not sure if we were meant to have asked but I've not had this before in a hotel.. A few bits of advice - I STRONGLY advice renting a car. I am used to semi-regular public transport, however trains and buses here are sometimes every few hours. Resulted in us having to get a £100+ taxi to the airport or we could've missed our flight. - The little shop down the road is great and only 5-10mins walk. Great for snacks, drinks etc. Overall, I would stay here again if we rented a car and definitely recommend it to others (already have!)
