Good breakfast and very comfortable room

Train station very close but property to old bathroom to small room to small

Easy 5 minute walk to property from the train station. Staff was very friendly and offered us Swiss chocolate at check in. We had a top floor room which was very spacious with two windows to open at night to cool off. They also had oscillating fans in the hallway to cool the room. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and friendly staff.

Very central location, just a 5 minute walk from the train & bus station. Food places and town were all walkable within a few minutes. The room was a good size and very clean with all the facilities we required. The wi-fi was pretty fast, but unfortunately the road was dug up outside and lost Wi-Fi for about 3/4 days. Breakfast was a good selection, continental and fresh coffee brewed on request. The staff on the front desk and the restaurant were very friendly. Nothing to dislike and would stay there again if in the area.

Was just okay nothing special

Greeted warmly by the staff and allowed us to access the room at midday instead of 3pm , Also had a nice Breakfast ,would definitely recommend.

Easy enough little hotel, great location with lots of places near by and quick walk to the train station. Good enough little room for a quick stay, beautiful view of the church. Only things were the mini fridge had mold so couldn’t use it and it was so hot during the day without air conditioning that we had to go buy a fan. Besides that good enough place for the convenience!

The staff at the hotel were lovely. Unfortunately the room we had had a big step to the en-suite which I thought wasn’t safe. (To be fair they did try to change rooms but didn’t have any available.) The room itself was small and compact but clean. It’s really well located.

The staff were amazing at this place but the management (owners) are horrible. It’s a convenient hotel and the staff make every minute worth staying but the management are not nice at all.

Felt safe, friendly staff at breakfast, conveniently located and fairly quiet... other than the church bells but that's not the hotels fault!

I stayed at Hotel Perron 10 both coming into Switzerland via Zürich for one night, and ahead of leaving for another two, as I was visiting the cycling world championships. For a short stay, this was a good place - the most comfortable hotel bed I've stayed in to date, 5 minutes from the station, food options nearby. complimentary bottled water, and someone to come in and make the bed and empty the bins every day. What I don't understand is the size of the bathroom compared tp the large size of the room - the toilwt faces the wall in such a way that I, a relatively short person, needed to access it diagonally. There is no fan, so the ceiling is moldy, the shower doesn't have a basin and thus floods the entire room. All good for a short stay. During my second stay, the blinds to one wundow were completely shut with no way to open them, and the windows let every bit of sound through. Even with earplugs it wss like sleeping next to a motorway that doesn't calm down most nights until 3am. My biggest problem came when I returned to the hotel Sunday night. This is a self-checkin facility, you get a door code mailed to you. This worked great right until it didn't. The emergency number at the door rings the phone at the restaurant, by then long closed. I had to listen to a recording of the manager give you another emergency phone number, and no one picked up. If you offer/lack a service, you should make sure it works if you don't wanna strand your guests?

There’s no onsite parking, wish I knew before booking. It is close to the train station but we drove so it was useless for us. The bathroom was the worse part and the hotel had a food “cooking” smell every time (restaurants below).

The property was close to the train station. The shower was difficult because the water ran all over the bathroom floor trying to get into the drain- no separate shower area/pan.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. Our rooms were great - spacious with everything we needed for our week long stay. Breakfast was varied and very tasty. We didn’t use the restaurant during the day/ evening as Winterthur has excellent dining options. Nothing to do with the hotel, but major roadworks were taking place in Wartstrasse which sometimes made it difficult to enter/ exit the road. However, we explored alternatives and found our way around.

Good experience! Just shower was different, bathroom was wet everywhere. Also, will be great having more pillows

It's a good hotel to see Winterthur on a budget. Free breakfast and friendly staff

Hotel is located in middle of town with many restaurants and supermarkets. It 4 minutes walk to train or 6 minutes with luggage. Breakfast is ok, coffee is wonderful. Restaurant is nice and good. Room is basic with a window above the bed.they kept the hotel very nice and clean but the are little roaches walking around. They have elevator and there are fans in hallway if need it.
