This hotel is very conveniently located next to the Grindelwald Terminal. The breakfast buffet was great, the beds were comfortable, and the view of the Eiger from our balcony was stunning.

By 9pm and the only option for dining is town. It’s a 25-minute hilly walk and buses stop running before 9pm. The hotel had a vending machine that had 5 CHF instant noodles and a self-service kitchen that had a kettle. Not the best option, but it worked. If staying here, plan your meals better considering the location from town/other restaurants.

Great location, close to grindelwald terminal amd grund for easy access to trains and cable cars. The included breakfast and local bus pass, only increased the value of thos place. Would highly recommend!

No privacy of the room until you keep the curtain closed and in summer very hard to keep the curtain closed . No air condition service available.

Staff is really helpful and amazing. The breakfast is good too although I wish there were a bit more variations. The muesli is really good gave me the right carb load before hikes. The elevator stopped working due to a flooding and wasn’t repaired during the duration of our stay. But the staff helped us with the luggage.
Train station is really close by and the bar and grill is very good too.
Few things that can be improved — room could be given more light. Additionally a longer mirror is really needed.

Very clean and modern rooms. Awesome views. Would be nice to have more transparent screens on the windows so we could better enjoy the view without bugs coming into the room. Comfortable beds. Great buffet breakfast. The location is convenient to Grindelwald Terminal but a bit far removed from the main town and the free busses stop running at 7pm.

Newer hotel with a good breakfast included. Hotel is far away from main part of town but close to a couple of gondola stations. Third floor (highest floor) chic room was nice and had good views of surrounding mountains (our room did not have a balcony but we could see that some others did). Parking was 5 Francs per night. On site restaurant (Grill Bar) was not very good.

Location was great!
However the family room does not have a door for its en-suite bath so it was very inconvenient for a family of 4, where we have to take turns to go out when anyone of us take a shower
There is a laundry room so it was helpful however there is only one washer and one dryer so the queue is quite long into the night as it serve all residents. Do plan and queue early if you are keen to utilize this

This property was located next to train and bus station. Inside station was a COOP grocery store for cheaper food options than in town. Half hostel half hotel it was a beautiful property along the river. I highly reccomend this if you are visiting Grindelwald.

Excellent stay from start to finish. The location is perfect, especially for exploring Grindelwald and the surrounding mountain areas. The breakfast was outstanding with plenty of options, and all the common areas were spacious, spotless, and very well maintained.
What stood out most was how much thought had clearly gone into guest comfort. Everything felt welcoming, organized, and designed to make guests feel relaxed and cared for. We genuinely felt well looked after during our stay.
One of the few hotels where I felt every dollar was well spent. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Grindelwald.

Great place right by the train station. Just a 10 minute walk from town or short bus. Make sure to go do upgraded room with a view. It’s worth it! Just amazing way to wake up in the morning.
