Hotel Drei Könige

Great stay! The two rooms we had with on suite baths looked recently renovated. The beds were very comfortable. It was clean and with the windows closed we couldn’t hear any outside noise during the morning hours. No AC, but that wasn’t a problem's as the temperatures go down during the evenings.

The property felt grubby until you reached the room. Even then it did'nt feel that great but cleaner than the rest of the building. Location was good and staff were friendly. Felt the room was over priced and glad we only stayed the one night. Breakfast was expensive too and did'nt look that great. We went out for breakfast.

Great location in the old town. Walking distance to the train station.

Very good location and clean room

Well located property with good breakfast. Short walk for station (Bernina Express) and good food options locally. No Air Con and limited windows (as neighbour’s balcony is nearby) so room is unbearably hot when the heat wave occurs. Very clean and comfortable bed.

Room was spacious, appreciated fridge and kettle. Didn't like long walk to shared toilet and bathroom. Room lock was fiddly. Didn't like steps from street to lobby.

I don’t like the stairs going into the lobby. When you have luggage from a long day of traveling, it’s a little frustrating. Other than that, everything was great.

Only stayed one night, our room was recently renovated and was clean and spacious.

It is in the process of being renovated I was given one of the new rooms which was faultless however I had hoped for/expected something more characterful.

Very expensive for what it was but excellently located for the station and the old part of town

Property was located in the center of Chur. Room was clean and everything was very comfortable. The only drawback and only for those with ambulatory issues is that the only way into the hotel are three flights of stairs.

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Drei Könige! The receptionist was incredibly helpful and kind — she even provided us with a parking pass for the nearby free overnight parking, which made things so much easier. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, and the location is perfect — just a short walk to all the charming shops and restaurants that Chur has to offer. One thing to note: guests will need to use stairs to reach the reception area, which might be good to keep in mind when arriving with luggage. Overall, a wonderful experience and we’d definitely stay here again!

What a beautiful place to stay for our quick trip before catching the Bernina Express. Our only minor critism was that the pillows were very thin compared to what we are encountered in other hotels. But, we would stay there again. We had a good sleep and nice breakfast. Thank you!

Hotel was lovely. Walk with luggage to hotel was manageable—especially due to large pedestrian walkway from railroad station. Breakfast was delicious and hotel staff very kind and considerate. / The only “heads up” would be there are lots of steps (maybe 20) to get to the reception area and no one to assist. We were lucky to get assistance from another guest. Hotel DOES have elevator to get to guest rooms but not at entrance. We had dinner at the hotel’s restaurant—which was nice. Across the street is a Michelin Star restaurant — excellent!! Splurge!! Well worth it. Ask hotel front desk for discount for Chur Brambrüesch (aerial cableway). It was a beautiful excursion. At the top, we stopped at a little family-run hotel/restaurant for beer/wine and food. Don’t be intimidated by the mountain bikes and professional hikers, there is a nice flat pathway in which you can enjoy without being too overwhelming. The views are amazing!! Chur is a quaint town. We stayed for 3 nights prior to taking the Glacier Express to Zermatt. // As for GE, if you don’t want to order overpriced food on GE, pick up your own lunch at a local shop in Chur!! We stopped at a small store in train station (left side as you go down escalator) - ZANETTI. Perfect!! They were incredibly kind and sandwiches were delicious. On GE we ordered wine and ate our packed sandwiches. We noticed many others had packed their own food. Chur was a delightful town with lots to see, good restaurants and shopping!

The room was clean, comfortable & quiet. The stairs access from street level to reception is awkward & a little onerous with larger or heavier baggage.

It was fine as place to sleep for a morning flight out.

Great hotel in a great town. Enjoyed staying here. Front desk staff was excellent.

Good location. Good value breakfast.
