there are no food options at this hotel. the bed was comfortable. The air conditioning doesn't work very well

We order two comfort suites for 2 families with two children each. The hotel sent us an email the day before that they won’t be able to give us one of the rooms and offered instead two basic, very small rooms. As parents for young kids we can’t leave the kids alone so we had to split so each parent will be in other room. The rooms were extremely small. Only after angry emails the offered a very small and unreasonable redund of only 15%, after ruining our trip witch we paid a lot of money for

No reception. Unfriendly.Am advising friends to avoid.

Room is very hot, air conditioning not working, windows don't open, hotel support don't respond.....hence very bad sleep.

Wonderful location and apartment room with restaurants and walking location. Only issue is it is located in a pedestrian area so difficult to call uber for pickups and had to walk toward an area outside the zone. The apartment had everything needed and comfortable except ac felt unaccustomed to cooling the room so windows opened until early in the morning where noise was heard from the deliveries trucks. Otherwise recommended

Please be aware that you must upload your passport copy for online registration check-in procedure which was not mentioned on Expedia as terms and conditions. Also, there were a kettle but not a roaster in rooms. During my stay, the only lift was out of order on 23rd Feb, I met another single traveller on lobby around 11pm, we both agreed that it was not easy to locate the staircase and we could not find a telephobe number to call for help. Next morning, I need to carry my 23kg suite luggage on my own from third floor without the lift to check out. The staircase were narrow and spiral so it was difficult for me. Would not recommend for those who highly consider safety issue, specifically, people on wheel chairs.

This was a great experience. I really liked the downtown area, how easy check-in was, the bed, and my bathroom. Two things I missed were a worktable (the tiny kitchen table was too small) and a bed stand.

Great accommodation in the heart of Basel. It had all that you need for a great stay and nicely furnished, check in process was flawless. Overall, fantastic experience, highly recommended!

Pros- inexpensive (not cheap) and in the best location. It’s safe, and can be safely accessed with great internet connectivity. Cons- there is a huge delay between your problem and their solution. Ex: Someone smoked in my room prior - it wasn’t reported so I could be assigned a new room. I had one pillow and need 2. I had one towel - and need 2.

Excellent choice!

The heat was too high and I was asked to send a pic of the thetmostat. I find it inadequate to ask a guest for a pic of something that should be your responsibility. Checkout time at 12 pm is too strict considering check-in is after 3 pm. There should be, at least, one hour tolerance. The coffee machine in my room kept spilling water for no reason.

There is strong smelt of paint in the room. The communication of check in is broken. Otherwise, the room is spacious and clean, excellent location in Basel city center.

Limehome Basel Münzgasse is in the heart of the Old Town and in easy walking distance of many attractions (Kunstmuseum Basel, etc.) and the transport links to go further afield (easy access to trams and the rail station). We found the location ideal for our family trip with our 5-year-old son. The accommodation was very clean, and the kitchen was well enough stocked that we could make meals as and when needed. A very well stocked supermarket is within 30 seconds' walk from the building, and many other shops, restaurants and cafes abound in the area. We shall definitely look to return in the future and strongly recommend it.

This is a wonderful place. Our room was clean, modern, and spacious. We realized this was an electronic check-in after we arrived. Perhaps we should have read the memo. Traveling from France, our sim card did not work. Thankfully, another group of people were checking in and if it wasn't for their patience and unselfish help, we might have never made it in. Once in, we loved. it. This place is in the heart of the city. Perhaps a couple of extra coffee pods with better instructions would have been nice. Regardless, although a bit pricey, it was awfully nice.
