191 Hotel

Upon checking in, the window to the room was open and the AC was off. The room was hot and smelled musty and like cigarette smoke. It took HOURS for it to cool the slightest bit then would kick off. The mini fridge barely got cold. The place was old and dated and had smelly wallpaper that absorbed years of stink. The only positive was it was 1 minute walk to Tonlin shopping plaza! Would not recommend this place especially if you are sensitive to smells.

It was in the heart of the city! Really convenient spot!!

Internet connections were unstable

I received the room with a faint smell of smoke even though it was a no smoking room. So beware of rule breakers. Also the wifi sucks so bad they might as well say wifi not available.

Easy to reach fm airport by bus 706. Near eateries, shopping and railway to take train. Friendly staff. Room is clean. Wifi is weak and some noise fm traffic.

Transportation is not convenient. Staff are very helpful.

We had a nice stay. They are accommodating to our request. Very convenient and close to the stores and market.

Location was excellent (close to a train station and bus stops）. Many shops and restaurants nearby. Staff was polite, check in was quick, and the room was clean. However, the bathroom window could not be closed all the way. As a result, street noise and cold air came into the room all night. Otherwise it was a good stay.

Great location, clean and all staff are very helpful & friendly. Room is a bit small but ok. Free laundry is a bonus. There is a direct bus stop close-by to Taoyuan international airport. Highly recommend this 191 hotel for travellers. High CP Value. Will stay again absolutely.

It is an ideal location to stay at due to the convenience of taking transit (bus and train) or shopping.

It’s clean and the service staff are nice. However, the room is a bit small and the noise from the neighboring road is too loud to fall asleep at night.

Hotel room was clean and in excellent condition. Problem is that while the description noted that it was a five minute walk from Tayoun station and thus presumably close to the Taipei international airport, and this would be a major reason why someone would stay at this hotel fact the train at that station does not go to the airport. As a result the only way to get to the airport is by bus and since that takes 45 minutes one might just as well stay in the centre of Taipei and take the MRT which also takes about 45 minutes. This should be explained by the hotel or Expedia before customers book this hotel.
