Close to night market

First thing to note - this is NOT a full service hotel. It shares a building with an education service and other businesses, and does not have a street-level lobby. The front desk hours are limited on weekends and holidays, so you may not check in if you arrive in the evening on weekends/holidays. The room was spacious, clean, and reasonably comfortable, but furnishing was a little dated. I was told to contact front desk each morning if I needed housekeeping services, but I didn't encounter any problems during my stay. Breakfast was extremely limited, and ran out of food half hour before closing time. Location is good. There is a 7-11 close by, and the hotel is a short walk from the Liuhe night market. The MeiLiDao subway station is about a 10-minute walk and it serves both subway lines.

Looks bad being located in a run-down building, but well-renovated inside. The staff is friendly, the rooms are huge, clean and comfy. Flexibility is there, allowing us to extend our room stay by the hour to accommodate to our late flight timing. Breakfast isn't appealing though.

I stay there for 3days. The hotel staff are very friendly n helpful when I asked them for the direction to go for area I want to go. He printed the direction of the map n passed to us. He recommended other attractions for us to go .His service is excellent.

We had cycled over 100km and were relieved to arrive at accommodation. The building exterior looks unimpressive and the reception is not located on the ground floor. However, the hotel turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The rooms were very clean and spacious and of a quality akin to a 4-star city hotel. The reception is very helpful and the breakfast good. Location is just walking distance to a interesting night market with great food. For the price, it was great value. Would stay there again.

We arrived at hotel mid week and welcomed with an early check in. We were surprised with a big and spacious room. Aircon was very strong. Toilet is also big but they provided bath gel and shampoo in sachets (1 each per guest). Complimentary coffee and tea together with 2 bottles of mineral water were provided. Breakfast average with toast, butter, jam, congee with condiments and some paus. Hotel is close to Lihue night market and Formosa Boulevard (Dome of Light) MRT. Hotel staff was polite and helpful but not very conversant in English. Overall it was a good deal from Expedia as we did not expect a big and confortable room for the price we paid.

The room is not to be complained about. But I give a overall rate of 1 star, for very bad experience when checking in, almost feel fraud---still not knowing it is hotels.com or the hotel. I booked a room for Feb, 3th, for 3 adults, 2 weeks ahead. The room type is business twin (so said in my order list), the price 80+ USD---was thinking it's with enough single beds to accommodate. When we arrived, they give us a room with 2 single beds, which is not possible for 3 adults. And they insist that's the room I booked, and insist it's the fault of hotels.com and I should deal with hotels.com myself. Then I had to pay an extra 500 TWD (about 16 USD I think) for a additional bed set up in the room. My friend checked the room type on another site, which says available that very day and cost only 270 CNY (about 40 USD). So to summarize: I paid dear for a cheap room, then paid extra to get over the night. Again, feel like bait and switch here. Hotels.com, you have the info that I don't have now, like the price history of different room types, and the room type changing history of the hotel. Please explain, so I know who to blame when filing a complaint to Taiwan tourism authority.

Pro. 1. Room clean with good amenities. 2. Near to liuhe night market, big 7-11 store beside the hotel. 3. Near to MRT, about 5mins walk. 4. Spacious room. Cons. 1. Aircond in the room not stable (not cold). 2. Lightning and power point not enough. 3. Hotel lobby at 5th floor. Not convenient. 4. Ground floor to 4th floor occupied by tuition centre. 5. Breakfast limited (no choice) and no refill even reach at 830am. Taste no good.

地點好，周邊景點步行皆可到達。
