This is an old but well kept building. Fushin Hotel Taichung is the former site of Hongbin Hotel. Neil Alden Armstrong, the world-famous astronaut once stayed at the hotel in 1969.

We came to visit the Orchid/flower/forest Expo ending Apr 2019 at TaiChung.The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Fushin Hotel is close to good restaurants pastry shops and attractions. The room is clean, quiet and It smells fresh. We should have planned more days.

We travelled from Australia with a 2 year old . Very convenient for us as it had a family market close by and shops to look around. A taxi ride to city centre . Excellent staff who speak English . I would come back again

This is a nice hotel. At the entrance, you can have free drink with their dispenser. The counter personnel were friendly. The check-in process was fast and without hassle. However, I booked a family room without amenity without fully understanding the implication. Therefore I was surprised that in the toilet only a piece of soap, some towels and one roll of toilet paper were provided. The toilet seat was the typical Japanese automatic type. I was later told that these provisions were for environmental protection purpose. But the next morning the current to the seat was switched off and we started to feel inconvenient to ' survive ' with only one roll of toilet paper for a family of three. Other than this, the hotel is clean and the laundry room provided at the basement is a big plus. We do enjoy our stay there.

good for budget business traveler around Taichung Station area, room is clean and spacious, breakfast is tasty with Chinese and Western style buffet style, check-in & out process very smooth, worth the money!

It is in an old town area; however, less traffic that you could walk around to see many heritage buildings within 30 minutes. The value of the hotel is considered in top ranking around this old town area.
