This is a newly built hotel so everything is brand new, and the rooms have been designed by artistic designers with designer bathroom fixtures. No frumpy American-style chain hotel 3-star junk in this hotel, but lower cost! Only drawback is lack of international channels on the cable system-the large screen hi def tvs only broadcast Chinese stations, including mainland broadcasters, so there was no BBC or Al Jazeera or CNN. But I was able to watch the NY Yankees - Baltimore Orioles game broadcast on local TV in the morning. Breakfast is also very elaborate and they prepare the eggs to order, so they are not cold or rubbery. Taiwanese hotel check ins are late at 3pm, but this hotel provided the luggage storage and rest room facility to prepare for noon meeting before the check-in. But it would be nice if Taiwan hotels would give a noon check in option.

Staff is friendly and helpful. Lightning in corridor is not enough. Air conditioning is good and cold enough. Bathroom doesn’t provide enough holders. Moisture toilet and bathroom with stains. The room is tidy, but with dust in every corner. I agree that the previous review said it was a hostel rather than hotel. However, there is no better choice in chiayi with a budget price.

The staffs are very friendly! The hotel is a little bit remote and thus the neighborhood is quite. The room is a non-smoking room, however, it smells of cigarette smoke. We got a window, however, it's against the wall of a neighboring building. Oh, we also got a clogged sink. But we spent less than 2000 NTD for this stay, and everything is acceptable I think.
