JÒHŌ HOTEL Kaohsiung

Superb stay in the center of Kaohsiung city. Easy access to metro stations, shops, night markets and good restaurants. Hotel staffs are all helpful and friendly. The hotel room is nicely designed and decorated. I love the cookies they provide in the room. Shall definitely stay here agian in my next trip to Kaohsiung!

The hotel was very clean and orderly. The room was spacious and the design was very well done. The bathroom specifically was very large and well built. The area outside is near the red line and orange line metro so you can really get anywhere you want from there. Botb stations are about a 5 to 8 minute walk from the hotel. Also the hotel offers a nice snack option from 1400 to 2100, where you can go at any point during that time frame and get any snack that was served in their dining room. All in all would stay there again.

First impression by the friendly staff at the reception made a good start of the stay. Fantastic location which is just 5 minutes walk to Kaohsiung Train Station to access the mrt and the regional train services. About 8 minutes walk to Farmosa mrt station that serves 2 mrt lines. Room is very well appointed and clean. Hotel guests are invited to the lounge for afternoon tea and evening cocktail with an impressive array of snacks and beverages. Alcoholic beverages are served in the evening. I find the offerings at the lounge even surpasses the Executive Lounge at Hilton Taipei Sinban, where I was staying as well, as a Hilton Daimond member. My only grouse is with the inadequate sound insulation. Sound from the corridor can be heard distinctively in the room. And the same the other way round. Be very careful with your private conversation in the room, as what is transpired can also be heard clearly in the corridor.

All staff we met were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included and food quality was very good. Most impressive was that breakfast time starts from 10:00am till noon.

Excellent value. This hotel does a lot with a little - despite the compact space and somewhat basic building, the rooms feel luxurious, are perfectly clean, and all of the amenities are first rate. The service was top notch, and the breakfast buffet was surprisingly great. The location near the main transit station is also a huge benefit. I would highly recommend staying here while on vacation in Kaohsiung. Staff was mostly proficient in English.

We arrived pasted scheduled check'ib time so no need to wait for room. Staffs were friendly and helpful with enquiries. Detailed information on available amenities & guest services were explained clearly during check-in, a sheet with a QR code was provided with the room keys if guest wished to review all these information again. Although no view from the room but thre was a window with a murat painted wall view. Only complain we had was the aircon vent facing the bed directly. Even with the vent adjusted, the cold air is still blowing in the face when laying in bed.

태풍이 지나간 바로 다음 날에도 호텔은 평소와 다름없이 운영되는 것 같아 인상 깊었습니다. LINE을 통해 소통할 수 있는 점이 편리했어요. 호텔 내부 객실은 매우 넓고 조명이 다양해서 쾌적하게 있을 수 있었습니다. 12시 체크아웃으로 더욱 여유있는 아침시간을 누릴 수 있었습니다. 웰컴 탄산수도 해피아워에 마신 밀크티도 호텔의 정성을 느낄 수 있어 좋았습니다.

從禮賓服務到房間設備及住宿禮物，都很貼心很讚。下午茶和早餐也都很好吃。 若要給出一個建議的話，我們覺得Happy Hour可以從1小時改至2或3小時。 從下午4-晚上7點。 以我們在國外長期生活的經驗來看，這個時段是屬於happy hour。若僅僅一小時的話，有時後若同時想要買個小吃來吃的話，時間就會壓縮，而無法比較從容的享受happy hour時光。 下午茶的熱食若可以在增加一些菜色的話，就更好。 整體的入住體驗很棒。 謝謝您。
