Muzik Hotel - Ximending Xining Branch

far from subway…around 10 mins walk but it’s close to night market. Room is okay but not worth the price. There is no 24 hours front desk.

We like the convenience of the place to the shopping and eating areas plus it's near to the center of Taipei,easily accessible to all the areas that you wish to visit. It can improve on the toilet as the door is spoiled and unable to lock.

I stayed at Ximengding Xining Branch. The hotel is within a walking distance to train stations and Ximengding. There are plenty restaurants nearby. Excellent location and the staff is friendly. The hotel room is small and basic. It’s ok if you are out most of the time. The carpet looks worn out. I would not recommend walking with barefoot. Overall, I had a pleasant stay.

I like that they provide free coffee,tea, bottled water, cookies etc. I love drinkng their cappuchino early in the morning. Close to everything, transpo, restaurant, main train station.

It’s a very comfortable & clean Room no. 313 that we stayed. It’s just right behind the counter. NOTE:: if you are checking in to this Xining Branch before 3pm, you’ve to leave the luggages at the Ximen Branch as there is no counter service. The reception area is also a service area with amenities like water cooler, tidbits and tea bags. Expect no grandeur of a lobby of a hotel as this is just a room only lodging place.

Front desk guy was really friendly, helpful and courteous. He hold the luggages for us when our room is not ready and brought it to our room. At the end of the stay. He called transportation and brought your luggages down to the car. That was out of his way to be exceptional.

Very clean and convenient to shopping

Location was near shopping area but quite a bit of distance to MRT. Sound proof of room was really bad.

The property is on a main Street, it’s convenient and walkable to Shi Men Ding square with many restaurants to choose from. The check in was a breeze, Sky, the young man at the front desk was very pleasant and prompt to help us settle in.

Affordable, well-located, not fancy. I don't want a fancy hotel, I don't want to deal with obsequious staff, I just want a room at a reasonable price in a good location. This hotel provides that, and I would absolutely stay here again. Yeah, weak plumbing means you need to put used TP in a trash can, well NBD there's plenty of places like that in the world so it doesn't bother me.

This branch specifically left a lot to be desired. The rooms are very outdated, there was a lot of trash under the beds, and there is not 24 hour front desk. If you book a taxi through the hotel, you will need to walk with your luggage to their other location. The snacks and drinks mentioned by other reviewers are not present. There is tea in the lobby, though. If you go to the other branch (to wait for your taxi), you will find the snacks and foot spa, etc that others have mentioned. I do not recommend this location, it is over priced and not at all like the photos. Area is good, but not convenient to MRT stations.

For savvy traveler, most the time there isn’t reception personnel in the hotel. I have seen couples with little kid we’re not be able to check in by themselves at night. If someone is highly dependent on hotel service be award of this condition.

Had a 4 night stay here. Room was bigger than expected, which is a plus. Window was pretty small, but was sufficient to let in light to brighten the room. There is also a hot and cold water dispenser at the reception area. Toilet was kind of cramp, but facilities were in working order. Great water pressure and hot water. However, I do not understand the notice on the door which says that the towels are not for hair drying, and that toilet paper is not to be disposed of in the toiletbowl. The toilet does not have a bidet. Wifi was strong and stable. Location is good too. About 3 mins to the bus stations, 5 mins walk to Ximen Station, 10 mins to Taoyuan Airport MRT, 15 mins walk to Taipei Main station, and 20 mins walk to NTU Hospital Station. But do take note that there are 2 Muzik hotels. I think many people got lost and went to the one nearer to Ximen Station. But the staff is friendly and will guide you on the correct path. Being in Ximen, there are tons of food and shopping options. You will not go hungry here. Will come back here again.

It’s easy to find the hotel and it near the shopping center. The staff very kind and smile. Everything are very goog for me, if I come again i will stay here.

The room itself was pretty good. The beds were comfortable and clean and everything else was good. The only thing that ruined my stay was the service by the staff of the hotel. I was awakened in shock as there were a bunch of drunken people screaming, shouting and banging on random doors at my Level none stop. I called in to the front desk 4 times to request for help to resolve the issue but nothing was done. The noise lasted for an hour and finally ended after a bunch of them started puking. Dear hotel, please make steps to prevent such people from disturbing your other guests

My mum had rashes after the 2nd night and felt that withe the blanket/quilt or the bedsheet was not clean.

Good location and clean hotel. The building ground floor looks dingy but once you reach the hotel lobby on level 3, you will see a relatively nice and pleasant reception for check-in. Rooms are clean, well designed and comfortable. The staff at the reception are very helpful as well! Will definitely be back!
