Can't believe at how others had rated this hotel, but service by the hotel is unbelievably prompt, friendly and helpful. When we first arrived and found that our towels were tinted and ask for a change, it was quick. Front desks even printed out what bus to take in order to go to places of interest. Wonderful people.

The service at the hotel was amazing. All of the front desk people were very accommodating, especially Queena (I think her name was). They were friendly, cheerful, and very respectful. The room was nicer than I expected. It was very clean. Bathroom had a bidet, a nice bathtub, and was very clean. The hotel is right in the center of the city. It is near a nice park, some great restaurants and bars, and 10 minutes walk from the subway. The breakfast that comes with the room was chinese style. It was okay, not spectacular, but free drinks are offered at any time in the lobby (there is a nice area to sit).

The hotel is very comfortable with free Chinese breakfast, individual room wifi, free washer/ dryer outside, and free water and beverages in a mini-fridge outside. A Toto toilet with a fancy warm water bidet. The room includes free video on demand. The subway station on the Red line is within walking distance. The front desk and cleaning staff was also exceptionally friendly and helpful. All in all, a great experience and a terrific value.

Bathroom design was bad. There was mirror on the wall facing the sink but there were shelves stick out in the middle of the mirror above the sink, right on front of our face. So, when using the sink, we had to stand on the side of the sink instead of at the sink. Shelves should be on the side away from the sink. Bath tub was too high - very dangerous to step in / out when taking shower or bath. Bathtub was too short so when taking shower, the water usually get out (end of the tub) onto the floor which would make the floor very wet in which causing safety concern when getting out of the very high bathtub.

There were some stray hairs on the floor, but my main gripe was the smell of old cigarettes. I could hardly fall asleep. Otherwise, it's a place to sleep while on vacation.

The room was spacious, and staff was helpful. Room was 4/5 clean, not dusty. But there was some mold on the walls and a little smelly. And the air conditioning unit needs an update. You need to hold the remote about an inch from the reveiver in the ceiling for the controller to work. And it either gets freezing cold or I have to turn it off. The bed was firm, nice they provide 2 pillows per bed. The windows and walls are not sound proof. So you will hear outside traffic and room next door.

Although the accomodation is stationed in the "Red-light" district rated by the locals, the place is well maintained and room service was good. Only downside is that there is no big rubbish bin outside the room for each level, if you are intending to take away food and bring back to room.
