Pokara Resort

Resort only suitable for people who drive. No amenities close by. It was raining when we arrived and there was no sheltered area towards check in. Staff was unhelpful throughout check in and check out. Left my bag at check out and had driver turn back to retrieve it. Staff did not help out or eve gave any notice.

We had a lovely stay. The room was comfortable and nicely decorated, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious. We are thinking of going back again soon.

The room was a little small, some housekeeping items could have been more thoroughly considered, breakfast was a joke in my opinion, and the price was a bit high for the offerings. However, it was quite, comfortable, away for the the city, and the staff were great. A nice romantic getaway for a night.

Amazing place. Stayed in the cottage and worth it. Positively surprised by the hot spring style bath tub. Toiletries also very premium.

Friendly staff and comfy bed. This hotel makes me feel like home. The breakfast was soooo nice including fruits, toasts, breads, jams, hand-made garlic spread, orange juice, tea, coffee, soy milk, congee, scrambled eggs with spring onion, veggies, etc. Really enjoy and definitely visit again,

Overall a good experience out of the city and not too far from Taipei city. Location is a bit far from the train station. Traveling in and out would need to take taxi. Only a restaurant nearby which is quite expensive.

This is my second visit to the Pokakra in a year. The revisit itself speaks for all. Nice place to stay in Yilan definitely.

Staff are nice and friendly. Breakfast is good. However the design for bathroom with full glass wall is dangerous and is not ideal for family guests. One of my family member has hurt her forehead because she didn't see the glass wall.

Sis and I arrived the resort around 9pm. Already informed them about our late arrival due to flight delay so the staff waited for us and came to the door to receive us once we reached. We felt warm when they offered us a box of Yilan famous Yih Shun Shiuan Panna Cotta Roll after knowing that we had no dinner as all the neighbourhood's shop had closed when we reached. All the staff were very friendly. Strongly recommended.

Overall was good if the extra distance from town is not of concern, otherwise, it's quiet, breakfast is homey and served with healthy food.

The resort is beautifully designed with 6 one-room cottages and a main wing with rooms on 3 levels. The whole compound gives a very relaxing atmosphere and the main dining room provides a very comfortable feel while you have your breakfast and tea time snacks which are served from 3pm to 9pm. It was a very good and relaxing stay and I will definitely repeat my stay and recommend to others.

It's just a solo getaway so this resort fits me perfectly, with its in room hot spring bath. The room will be just fine even for a couple getaway. Nice little room, friendly staffs who guided me to scenes around as well. I like this place.

Resort is brand new and super clean. Breakfast was good and the staff really helpful for driving to and from the train station. Hotel a bit far away but they arrange free transportation.

Comfortable and spacious room compared to those hotels in Taipei Station. Breakfast is average. Good price!!

小木屋房型：適合渡假放鬆，寧靜自然空間，注重隱私，空間小但各項設施一應俱全。床枕不會太軟，躺下很快就放鬆了。空調好易冷不悶，更棒的是小木屋完全沒有潮溼味。空間利用完美，淋浴水壓強，沐浴用品提供茶籽堂好用舒服。有提供簡易下午茶，早餐精緻雖選擇不多但足夠，肉燥好吃。唯一可惜是要享用戶外浴缸，必須著泳衣，無法裸泡。
