overall, good experience could use a little updating, but for the price a very good choice

good location and price in zhongshan area. hotel in fair condition as expected ~ i have not expected ritz carlton. the one really bad thing was the shower gel with very strange odors.. also mattress very hard but okay for me. aircondtiong icy cold even when i turned it up to 26C

Had everything stated, with attentive and friendly staff. Rooms were a bit outdated with fairly uncomfortable mattresses and pillows, but I wasn't expecting more for this price point. Bathroom was also outdated and had a rather low ceiling combined with a high-set bath tub, those who are 6ft+ will have difficulty showering standing. Hotel's choice of body wash was not to my liking (strange smell), though I always buy my own, I could smell the supplied body wash even when not being used.

It has strong air-conditioning and free coffee in the lobby. The building and furnishings are a bit old though.

I booked the room for 7 nights and for first few days, I was quite pleased with the stay as the room was quite cozy though the deco was old fashioned. On my 4th night, I suspected I got bitten by bed bugs and started checking the bed covers. Found a tiny creature but unsure if it was bed bug and immediately requested for a change of room which they granted. I'm still unsure if I was bitten by bed bugs or mosquitoes on some of my sight seeing. But I must say the staff were very friendly and helpful and provided unlimited bottles of mineral water upon request.

The hotel is so dirty that we have to walk away and lost our non-refundable room charge for couple of nights. I would not recommend anyone step foot in here even if it is free!

Had a very good location, easy to get anywhere in Taipei. The staff were friendly, kind and accomodating. The room was spacious and clean. All this at a very reasonable price. I will definitely be staying here again when I return to Taipei.

The property is old but the cleanliness is acceptable

Everything is good , staff is very friendly and helpful. Just the bathroom, you can see the mold around the bathtub side.

I can't sleep all night long due to air condition problem & bathroom too noisy due to old building.

A nice, clean, and friendly little hotel tucked back in a popular Japanese area. Many nearby amenities and fairly short walk to the metro Red line. The hotel staff were friendly, helpful, and respectful, and they certainly made my stay all the better!

STAFF IS VERY FRIENDLY. We spent about 10 minutes from met to the hotel. There are many restrooms near the hotel.

SIMPLE ESTABLISHMENT WITH EASY ACCESS TO THE MRT. LOTS OF EATING OPTIONS IN THE NEIGHBOURHOOD. VERY FRIENDLY STAFF.

Hotel location is ok,a bit far from MTR, room are clean but just a bit old. Staff are 5 stars service, willing to help and polite.

The room has an old feel to it with old furniture and old style washroom. Without the air conditioner being on, we could smell someone smoking, seemed like it was coming from the stairwell. There was a good amount of space. I killed an ant that happened to be crawling on the beside table. For the price, it was alright.

Good location, lots of local food nearby!
