Chaweng Noi Pool Villa

Hotel needs maintenance or renovation! The room I got on day 1 had mold and unpleasant smell. They changed the room next day but why the guests need to suffer.

Older, has that typical tropical mould smell to it. Rock hard beds - more like sleeping on a gym mat. Wasn’t great. Nice staff, pool area was nice.

Good location. Quiet location between Chaweng and Lamai. Bed was like sleeping on concrete. But served it’s purpose

The only issue was walking from hotel to the main beach areas. No sidewalk and it was dangerous

I did not have very good luck picking out Hotels on the island until we got to the Chaweng Noi. We cannot afford the $100 or more per night options but this hotel was great for our 11 night stay. There was a problem getting our room on check in but the staff put us into a suitable room until the next morning when we were moved into our correct room. The entire staff was very friendly and so helpful our entire stay. Breakfast was very good with enough choices to keep us satisfied. The pool was beautiful and well maintained. Everything was to our liking during our stay. My only complaint was the bed. It was, like so many beds in Thai hotel rooms, too hard for me. Toppers would be perfect. Koh Samui is not my favorite place in Thailand and I wish we had not booked 3 weeks on the island. That being said at least the Chaweng Noi was really a bright spot and really helped the trip be a lot less disastrous. Although I cannot recommend a stay on the Island but if you’re there or going there I can highly recommend the Chaweng Noi for a great Hotel experience at an affordable price.

We just came home after a 3 week stay in a deluxe room and would definitely book this hotel again! We were a little “worried” before arriving as some of the later reviews are very negative, but any concerns we might have had were whisked away instantly! This is a beautiful little hotel and our room was spotless and of great size, no smells or bugs in sight! Every single member of staff are so friendly and go out of their way to help you, the second we arrived we were greeted and assisted with our luggage to our room on the 4th floor (1402). The cleaning lady on our floor did such a great job and was so very friendly every time we met her, as were all staff! The free shuttle bus to the sister hotel was a very welcome bonus with free beach chairs, some days we chose to walk down to the bottom of the beach and rent chairs from the Thai family as we loved that part of the beach. We didn’t have breakfast included with our stay so ate at to be sweet right next to the hotel some mornings, but did try the hotel breakfast buffet (300 baht for adults, 250 for kids) and found this much better than recent reviews, with a great selection of hot and cold food, fresh egg station, fruit and juice. Several dining options within 5 mins walk, but note there is no sidewalk so you have to walk along the road. The hotel is obviously not brand new any more, but we found this just part of its charm. Overall a very lovely stay and very good value!!

Lovely place to stay,quiet and peaceful.Hotel could perhaps use a little refreshing,but it has lots of charms.Great food in the restaurant,very friendly and helpfull staff.Loved to stay in Chaweng Noi Pool Villa and I'm gonna miss it very much

Good place for sleeping 😴

ROACHES AND ANTS IN THE ROOM. The roaches were HUGE…the size of my finger. How is this a “4-star hotel”? It is a 2-star MOTEL. We checked in and were checked out 2 hours later as we couldn’t stay in such an unbearable place. The AC wasn’t working so the entire room was very stuffy and warm, the toilet didn’t flush and the shower didn’t drain. The hotel refused to give us a refund for the two nights we booked despite us not even staying there for 4 hours. We checked into another hotel that same night and thankfully this hotel was a true 5-star hotel. Will not recommend this place. You’ve been warned.

Staff were so accomodating. Rooms were cleaned well each day. Drivers and front staff knew us well. Took good care of us.

It was beautiful, both myself and my boyfriend had the most amazing time, we loved the private pool, the bed was very comfortable and the food at the restaurant was lovely! We will be returning.

You have a hotel-provided free transportation system that takes you conveniently to the center and some beautiful beaches on the island. The staff was very attentive and very nice. The pool area was very relaxing. Great stay overall.

Nice quiet location transport a small problem even though hotel has a restricted shuttle service great pool and restaurant area parking available bed lumpy asked for a topper and was on bed within minutes however it was flock style which even though much more comfortable the springs still pushed through but it was bearable

Stayed for 2 nights with our grown children. Clean and friendly. Pool was nice too. Situated on a steep hill so we caught a taxi very easily and cheaply. We used the shuttle to the private beach which was lovely.

The friendliest, most customer oriented staff! Tons of space in the family pool villa and many good options to choose from for breakfast. Especially loved the butterfly tea welcome drink!

Staff was extremely friendly and hospitable. On-site restraunt and bar was great. We stayed in a pool villa, very spacious lovely tub/shower. Pool was great and pretty private. The location is good but not for pedestrian traffic at all, need rental or taxi to get anywhere. Chaweng Beach is beautiful. The matress was pretty hard though, Only complaint.

Absolutely fabulous better than could have expected. Everything about the property was five star . The staff were friendly and very efficient. The villa was outstanding . Would highly recommend

Lovely place to stay for an excellent price. We stayed in a pool villa that was very spacious and clean. The breakfast was good with fresh eggs made to order and there are plenty of excelle t restaurants to eat at close by if you dont want to eat at their restaurant.which was also very good. The only down side to the pool villa was that for privacy they have bushes surrounding the pool and outside area. Fine in the day as it doesnt impact the sun, but at night you get alot of insects. The beach is also a 3 minute walk away and was stunning with an excellent bar and restaurant. Overall this was a fanatstic hotel and location for us and would recommend people stay here if you want to be slightly away from chaweng.

It wAs going fine but the room service is really terrible and impolite, reseption was good , hotel is really far from the center , resturnt close at 10 , food was bad .... bad experience won’t go back again to this hotel
